  1. Yeah. So continuing on with Cunningham Elite Page 20 of
  2. your handbook states that in keeping with the nature of
  3. the health care services, many associates will have irregular work
  4. hours when working.
  5. As an elite associate, you will work the shift our
  6. established by the facility where you are assigned.
  7. It is your responsibility to know your scheduled shifts and
  8. hours. And elite, the representative will make you aware of
  9. open shifts or give you an access to shift information
  10. outline. So in this case it's actually not your elite
  11. representative. It will be us that will give you the
  12. information on how to sign up for open shifts and
  13. that would come later.
  14. Um That has something to do with the sign up
  15. genius. Moving on to page 21 of Your Handbook.
  16. Uh this causes about the poor attendance and excessive tardiness.
  17. Um that could lead to a disciplinary action which could
  18. also lead into termination of employment.
  19. So any for your guideline or your handbook for any
  20. to un excuse Absences in any 90 day period or
  21. more than six unexcused absences in any 12 month period
  22. will be cost, will be a cost for disciplinary action.
  23. Such disciplinary action can include termination for repeated absences or
  24. pattern of poor attendance.
  25. So any absence without advance notification is a considered no
  26. show or no call, no show and that is could
  27. be a cost for your immediate termination.
  28. So now let's discuss the sign up genius.
  29. So sign up genius is um uh scheduling platform that
  30. were subscribing to in order to make sure that you
  31. could view it from the convenience of your smartphone or
  32. your computer.
  33. So starting july 25th any extra shifts will be viewed
  34. through sign of genius.
  35. Um and you would have the convenience of signing up
  36. yourself when you sign up, we're expecting you to actually
  37. work the days that you sign up for.
  38. um but in order to view that um, page or
  39. the platform, you are going to be given the access
  40. code and that would be emailed to you Um just
  41. before the 25th because right now it's not totally complete.
  42. My colleagues, jennifer thorn and timmy you has is helping
  43. me complete the whole migration of the original or the
  44. old scheduling system from the old drive to the new
  45. scheduling system, which is this sign up genius.
  46. Um and the reason behind this change is because there's
  47. a lot of miscommunication and changing schedule that um, you
  48. know, usually um failed to be communicated to the specific
  49. person and so in order to, you know, avoid this,
  50. we, we tried to find some alternative system scheduling system
  51. that would be more convenient for your use.
  52. So, tapping on the communication again while you're at work,
  53. I'll mention please utilize the zoom chat app because that
  54. would be a lot more um easier to communicate to
  55. one another.
  56. It's it's almost like the crew app, it's just more
  57. exclusive, I'm sorry, not exclusive inclusive because it has more
  58. capacity, you know, participant wise compared to the crew.
  59. So make sure to use that zoom chat when you're
  60. communicating, you know, just about anything.
  61. Like if you need some supplies or something communicated with
  62. Mindy so that you could order right away or um
  63. if you need a break or you need to be
  64. relieved um temporarily to communicate with the runner, you know,
  65. use the zoom chat.
  66. So in my absence, um because I'm like I mentioned
  67. on a mandatory Pt or vacation, Mindy Mcbride will be
  68. your point of contact.
  69. And again the phone number is (564) 240 3033.
  70. Please refrain from texting or calling her or any of
  71. the other leadership that could include timmy and um jenni,
  72. jennifer thorn.
  73. If if your inquiry could wait till later on, please
  74. do not text in the middle of the night because
  75. we are admitting people and we work monday to friday
  76. and during the day or office hours.
  77. Okay. So why is first impression?
  78. Why does it matter?
  79. Because we are the first ones to greet our visitors,
  80. our staff and our patients.
  81. So it does matter.
  82. Yeah. Um it matters that we maintain a respectful attitude
  83. to others at all times.
  84. Even during stressful times.
  85. It matters that to people in a location where you
  86. know where there are two people aside, they are expected
  87. to break each other because that relieves or take pressure
  88. from the runner so that the runner could help someone
  89. else. It also matters that you clean and and make
  90. sure that you maintain a clean um workstation your table.
  91. If there are wheelchairs that are you know close by
  92. to your workstation and you have some free time, please
  93. make sure to stand and wipe them.
  94. Um make sure to to look at your stocks and
  95. organize your station.
  96. If you notice that you are going to be needing
  97. supply any supplies or whatever stickers or you know masks,
  98. gloves and stuff like that, please communicate it right away.
  99. That would be the best um communicated through zoom chat.
  100. You know the beginning of your shift.
  101. Be flexible as the staffing needs.
  102. Staffing needs to change frequently because of call out.
  103. We um often move people around so be flexible um
  104. and expect to not just be working on your station
  105. because we're there to screen and we cannot pick and
  106. choose the location from where we're screening, all screening entrances
  107. are all important.
  108. So you know, it's advisable that everyone knows how to
  109. work each of the screening entrances, most of all, please
  110. arrive on time and return from your break on time.
  111. So an example here, one of our screeners use a
  112. person's name after writing it down on a clipboard and
  113. in directing that person to the registration or security.
  114. So that person actually address the patient by first name.
  115. When when we do this, it adds personal touch.
  116. And um it's silence, silently says, you know, you are
  117. important to me, I remember you and um it you
  118. know, it it tells a lot about the organization we
  119. represent. So what would be a good um practice as
  120. soon as you get into your station, checking your zoom
  121. chat, see the conversation that happened even before you arrive.
  122. Um you know, an example here, if you read it,
  123. you will be more aware of what's going on, not
  124. just within your station, but you know, the other stations.
  125. So because you know that there are eight stations total,
  126. right? So example here, you know, pretty self explanatory.
  127. Um, the runner, you know, as soon as the runner
  128. gets in, hey, I'm Tina, I'm the runner, uh, I'm
  129. the first runner today, you know, it's just, it just
  130. gives a little bit of cohesiveness and um, you know,
  131. uh, teamwork.
  132. So Again, effective July 25, um, the changes in the
  133. timing of, or the shifting of some of the entrances
  134. will change the sign of genius sign up will be
  135. open and again, the access code will be emailed just
  136. prior to that date.
  137. So I apologize for, this is a recorded session.
  138. Normally I would be asking questions um in real time
  139. and you know, um in person.
  140. But any questions from this presentation, please don't hesitate to
  141. email it.
  142. Um like you said, I'll be on PTO from today
  143. till the 30th, so you could see see me their
  144. address it to mindy, Mindy dot mcbride at common spirit
  145. that come for now.
  146. Thank you very much and have a great day.
