  1. Hi everyone, my name is Andy Bowman and this is my very first present video.
  2. I'm going to talk about my family, my teaching experience,
  3. why I chose this course and what I hope to learn throughout.
  4. I'm married to my beautiful wife Carrie,
  5. she's currently in this course as well and we have two beautiful Children,
  6. Cecilia and Caleb, they just turned 17 months old um a few days ago and we're just,
  7. we're having fun, laughing, playing,
  8. running around with them as they now know how to walk and they're learning how to run.
  9. Uh this is my 11th year of teaching choir,
  10. I'm a middle school choir teacher in the north Kansas City school district,
  11. This is my third building,
  12. but I have been teaching middle school choir for now 11 years, and I enjoy.
  13. I enjoy all of it.
  14. The reason I chose this course is to broaden my knowledge of tech tools,
  15. especially tech tools that I have not,
  16. I have not used a whole lot in class um and then
  17. find new ways to teach the music content in more invigorating ways
  18. and what I want to learn from this class is
  19. how to implement these tech tools into our rehearsals.
  20. Normally our rehearsals are warming up, sight reading and rehearsing our music,
  21. so it'd be great to find new ways to use these cool tech tools,
  22. use these tools to engage students and
  23. parents in the learning process throughout the year
  24. and what I'm really interested in in learning through this course is
  25. how to sink these tech tools together for even more improved learning.

  27. and what I hope to gain from this course.
