  2. This is my artifact sharing assignment and today I'm gonna

  4. why my artifact is special to me.

  7. A little bit about who I am. My name is Johanna charred, but I prefer to be called Jess.
  8. I am 19 years old and live in contract in Ontario
  9. and I have lived here my whole life.
  10. Some of my interests are exploring new places, listening to music, traveling,
  11. going for walks and spending time with friends and family.
  12. A little bit about my artifact. Uh It is my dog daisy. She is about her, sorry.
  13. She is half stable, half tan german shepherd and it's about a year and a half old.
  14. I also got her in Norfolk County about three hours away.
  15. How? And when I received her when I bought daisy, my mental health was poor.
  16. I feel like I was in a dark place with myself
  17. and right before I got her, my other dog actually ended up passing away of old age.
  18. So soon after that I realized
  19. it wasn't the same without a dog in the family.
  20. So me and my friends actually ended up going on a road trip
  21. three hours away and we were going to look at two different dogs.
  22. The first one was daisy
  23. and we're going to look at another german shepherd.
  24. Uh So
  25. when we first arrived at daisy's house, my heart sank. It was, it was awful.
  26. They were actually
  27. living in really poor condition.
  28. And as soon as I seen that I knew she was the one and I knew I was taking her home.
  29. Uh
  30. So for the next one we're going to do
  31. why my artifact is special to me.
  32. I love the saying Whoever said diamonds are a girl's best friend,
  33. never owned a dog and it is so true.
  34. I could be having the worst day and just even seeing her makes me happy.
  35. We could go.
  36. We're sorry,
  37. she has such a big personality and everybody she meets just loves her. And I do too.
  38. We can go for walks for hours, which I love and she does too.
  39. We can lay on the couch and watch movies all day
  40. chicken. She'll do anything with me.
  41. And actually she lays with me when I do my own line classes too.

  43. watching her girl from what she was and what she had before to what she has now,
  44. it just fills my heart
  45. why I chose her for my artifact.
  46. I chose daisy from my artifact because of how much she means to me.
  47. When I first got daisy, I was in a low place and
  48. wasn't really happy with myself
  49. ever since I got her.
  50. I've worked on myself and I don't think I've ever been this happy before.
  51. I know it sounds crazy because she's a dog,
  52. but how she was living before has really pushed me to be a better person and
  53. give her a better life than she had before.
  54. And how does my artifact represent me?
  55. Mhm.
  56. My artifact represents me because
  57. we're a team.
  58. We pretty much do everything together and we have
  59. a bond that can never be broken and unconditional love
  60. that will last a lifetime. Sorry
  61. she represents me because everything I do, she loves to do, go for walks,
  62. go for drives, go swimming.
  63. And was the artifact I chose easy or difficult. Choosing my artifact was very easy.
  64. As soon as I heard the assignment, I immediately thought of her.
  65. She is a big part of my life and I really enjoy being able to talk to her about, sorry.

  68. thinking of things to write down was really easy for me because I
  69. love talking about her and I could go on for hours about it.
