Hey everybody, what's going on.

Um, I am excited about the next few days as

we journey into Mexico and just minister the Gospel through

the ministry forward.

Um, I believe that God has picked this team, that

he has already given us the words that need to

be said, um, that he's already selected the relationships and

the individual encounters that we're going to have with people.

I believe that there is going to be stories of

not just inner healing but physical healing.

And um, I do, I do think that we come

in as these um, chosen profits to just open the

eyes and the ears of people to the love of

God and that his desire is for us is to

be set free and to enjoy, uh, wonderful, beautiful life

in the land of the living.

Um, so again, I'm fasting and praying and I'm seeking

God. I'm not looking for anything in scripture that's profound

or something I've never heard of before.

I'm sleeping for something that would be timely to his

people over there.

I'm asking the big question of Lord, what do you

have to say to your people?

What do they need to hear today?

Right now in this moment in this hour, Show me

what it is that their hearts are crying uh, to

hear and how can I be an agent of grace

that helps them hold that truth?

Uh, and so I want to invite you to be

a part of that process as well.

A couple of things.

I just want to throw out there before a meeting

at 12 today.

But um I just want you to know that as

far as you writing your message, I'm not interested in

you right in the perfect message.

What I really want you to do is be comfortable

and familiar with the points that coincide with the book

and the points that are on your notes as your

feet touch the ground over there, please be aware that

the Lord will give you new things to say to

his people and so you will always be forever be

changing uh your message and that's fine.

That's okay.

What I'm really looking for is you being familiar with

your notes, You being familiar with the big points, the

big ideas, the big illustrations that you want to be

able to use and to allow them to coincide with

the new book.

Um that Alex um has requested to be drafted up

and so that's all we want there.

We don't need a perfect full page completely written out

sermon. So I hope that puts a little bit of

pressure and if you do have been great, you can

spend the rest of this week um just thinking and

praying and asking God, you know, where would you like

to come in and fill in some of those spots.

What we're really looking for is not just another message,

What we're literally looking for is uh these process moments

with God where we get to shit with the Lord

um and experience his visceral presence and what I mean

by visible presence.

I'm talking about visceral presence is something like when your

body um response to someone who is in the room.

Um and I mean this like I I don't mean

to be superficial but it's an actual thing where our

bodies will actually recognize that someone is in the room

and something happens.

And so I'm expecting that we help people understand that

God is not a god that is 1000 Galaxies away,

but he is with us face to face, eyeball to

eyeball. He is a God who never leaves his position

of authority but yet stoops down to touch us tremendous

to heal us to make this whole to change our

mind sets and to work on one of the most

complicated parts that no one can understand and that's our

heart and I believe that the visceral presence of God

um is going to be engaged throughout the time that

we are there not just to the people in Mexico

but to the missionaries, the leaders um and and the

teams that serve them.

So one of the things that I want you to

be familiar with is the except the name and the

invite process which is part of the process that allows

us to really help people understand that God is truly

with us and and our deepest hurts and um you

know really quickly this is my version of it um

tad sent out an email and I'll give you kind

of uh a perspective that agrees with Todd's but it's

also kind of my own flavoring, but I accept the

fact that I'm human and I just need jesus and

in my humanity, I don't have all the answers.

I accept that um in in my Christianity that I

still got a long way to go in my relationship

with christ um I don't know everything that he knows

and that there is a desperation within me that is

crying out and pining out for more of jesus and

nothing on this earth will truly satisfy and as much

as a, as a person of faith that I think

that I am, there are still parts of me that

are broken and I don't know what God is up

to. There's still parts of me that don't have the

faith that I would like them to have.

There's just parts of me that are wonderfully broken and

God is working on that.

So that's part of the acceptance, naming is naming exactly

what I am experiencing, what I am feeling, whether it's

rejection, whether it's abandonment, whether it's my insecurities, whether I'm

feeling temptation, whether I'm feeling alone, these are the things

that I want to be able to name and put

a name on so that I can actually give it

to the Lord and he can do the last, which

is invite, I can invite him into that place, I

can surrender this to him and in that void I

invite the presence of God.

And so in that place I believe that kind of

works on the most complicated part of our soul, which

is the hearts who can understand it.

It is just wonderfully complex and there's so many mysteries

to it.

But God does and what we need more than anything

is one word from God that can change anything.

And the second is just an encounter, a deep rich

encounter that will just help us remember that God is

with us.

So looking forward to it.
