  1. greetings, colleagues Happy april um Welcome to spring.
  2. I hope that you all have your allergy medications or herbal tonic
  3. tonics on hand because the pollen is out and getting to me.

  5. This is a brief video to just orient you to april the last month the last full
  6. month of field the finish line is coming so excited for you all to cross it.
  7. So friendly reminder, get your March hours into Tamara.
  8. Um I recommend that everyone get them in by the 15th.
  9. Give yourself a little bit of time but make sure that at this point um by the
  10. 15th of this month you have um at least I think three time records for the month.
  11. So you want to see january hours february hours and March hours in the system.
  12. Mid semester visits are happening and I do have to let you all know.
  13. I think most of you know that I um I am a licensed clinical social
  14. worker but I work full time as a policy director of policy in D.
  15. C. And we're in the middle of a really kind of crunch time season as everyone is busy.
  16. Um However this means that I've got limited space on my calendar so I will
  17. be keeping our mid semester visits to um the time that is allotted for them.
  18. If you find that I'm rushing through things I just
  19. want to make sure that I get to everything.
  20. But if you need more time with me know that you
  21. can always schedule office hours at mid semester visit though.
  22. We're going to keep pretty punctual um into the plan.
  23. Speaking of plans, your learning plan reflection is due on april 10th.

  26. I thought I did it at the beginning of the semester and come to find out I did not.
  27. So um it is fully up to date.
  28. If you go to the assignment tab into excuse me canvas,
  29. you will find the information you need as well as the access
  30. code to be able to get into the flip grid um platform.

  32. additionally on april 20th,
  33. So thanks to one of your colleagues who pointed out to me that I
  34. moved the learning plan reflection due date um to the pier response to date.
  35. So now your peer responses due on april 20th,
  36. what does this mean that you need to be in flip grid
  37. by april 20th and have submitted two responses to your peers reflections.
  38. So if you can go through that again,
  39. you're learning plan reflection is now due April 10 via flip grid.
  40. You will find access to this in canvas. Your peer response is now due by April 20.
  41. Please respond to two of your peers in the flip grid platform.
  42. Your third process recording and conference agendas.
  43. Please don't forget those conference agendas they are due on April 24
  44. and
  45. On May seven I'm sneaking this on in there because the end of April will come,
  46. your final field evil and time sheet is due.
  47. So um as we know last semester, Tamara gave us lots of headaches and with this in mind,
  48. I want you to begin to prompt your
  49. Field instructor about the end of the semester. Let them know. On the 24th
  50. we're gonna have one more process recording to get in on the seventh.
  51. We need to get in that final field email in time sheet.
  52. Um I cannot confer your hours,
  53. I cannot let you through this semester until those steps are complete.
  54. So it's really important that you have a conversation with your field instructor.
  55. We'll do this in the mid semester evaluations.
  56. Mid semester visit as well to ensure that they're comfortable with
  57. to vera that they're able to get that final field Evalyn,
  58. we need that in by May 7th.
  59. Um There really is no leniency on that.
  60. So let's try to make that happen as best we can if you today,
  61. um a little more than 30 days away.
  62. No, May 7th is going to be tough for me in my field instructor for whatever reason,
  63. Start having that conversation now.
  64. Send me an email so that we can have a plan.
  65. Okay, so let's run through this month again really quickly.
  66. Get those march hours and by the 15th,
  67. make sure that you don't have to cram it in at the end of semester for
  68. mid semester visits are happening.
  69. I've got a pretty packed schedule and though I love spending time with y'all,
  70. I gotta keep it breathing cute so we can move on
  71. to everything else that needs to be done in our lives.
  72. Learning plan, reflection is doing the flip grid platform,
  73. check that out on assignment, It's due on april 10th.
  74. Then on april 20th, respond to two of your peers in the flip grid platform.
  75. Your process recording is due on april 24th.
  76. That needs to include your conference agendas between the due
  77. date of the last process recording and this process recording
  78. and finally that field evaluation and time sheet is your
  79. last assignment to submit before you cross that finish line.
  80. Get that in in May 7th.
  81. And if you find that that's going to be challenging for you,
  82. we need to have a conversation sooner than later to plan accordingly.
