  21. admitted by mistake and I have to pay for college
  22. in order to continue.
  23. So I dropped out and moved back to Iraq and
  24. worked on his interpreter for the US Army to get
  25. money and go back to college in Syria.
  26. But after four years with the U.
  27. S. Army and seeing the hardworking officers and soldiers of
  28. the U.
  29. S. Army doing great things for my country working humanitarian
  30. missions, training Iraqi forces and Iraqi police to be self
  31. sufficient, I was inspired.
  32. I was granted an immigration visa and moved to the
  33. U. S.
  34. In the US I lived in San Jose.
  35. I called my hometown in the Bay Area.
  36. Between two thousand ten two thousand eleven, I worked few
  37. retail jobs, volunteer for Catholic charities, supporting refugees, settling in
  38. the United States.
  39. In twenty twelve, I enlisted in the U.
  40. S. Army.
  41. As a chemical specialist, I spent seven years in the
  42. Army, three of these years in North Carolina and four
  43. in Hawaii.
  44. My career after the Army in December twenty eighteen to
  45. me twenty twenty was Uber Security Special.
  46. Ah, Analyst.
  47. May twenty twenty two August twenty twenty.
