  1. Hello everyone,
  2. my name is jaden Chandler and here are just a few things that you need to know about me
  3. First.
  4. I was born on December eight and I am somewhat of an introvert,
  5. but once you get to know me,
  6. you'll know that I love to laugh and like to learn people's
  7. stories to really get to know what makes people who they are.
  8. I just graduated from Towson University in December of 2021
  9. and I major in sport management and minored and business administration.
  10. Another important thing to know about me is that my family is everything to me.
  11. I have a large extended family but this is my main crew.
  12. I am very close with my parents and I have
  13. one older brother named Brandon and a nephew named Kimani.
  14. I am a proud member of Delta Sigma
  15. Theta sorority Incorporated and happened since october 2020.
  16. In fact, when you all see this on thursday,
  17. it is our founder's day and we have been
  18. around 109 years making an impact on our communities
  19. and being a Delta has helped me come out of my shell a lot,
  20. which is why I'm able to make this presentation
  21. and not have my voice shaking like crazy.
  22. So thank you, Delta
  23. Next my professional life so far,
  24. I have spent my college career working athletic communications
  25. and I would like to continue to do that
  26. at towson.
  27. I worked with the media relations team within the house and athletics where
  28. I was the primary contact for women's golf and my last semester,
  29. which meant that I was responsible for all of their media needs,
  30. taking all the photos and videos necessary to make
  31. them look good as an organization or as a program
  32. and I make content for their website,
  33. writing about their tournaments and updating the website with their schedules.
  34. And I also ran their social media accounts as
  35. well as the other social media accounts for our
  36. 19 teams and just helping with general game day
  37. operations while doing stats and like in this picture,
  38. I'm running the scoreboard. So I did a little bit of everything
  39. This summer.
  40. I interned with the American Junior Golf
  41. Association as a travel communications intern.
  42. We put on golf tournaments for Children 12-18,
  43. we traveled to nine states in 12 weeks.
  44. My team specifically, which is in this picture,
  45. we were stationed in the West and the Midwest.
  46. I was responsible for website content creation, photography, videography
  47. and social media management.
  48. So if you wanted to break into the golf industry or
  49. just get some fun travel experience while getting work experience,
  50. definitely check out the A.

  53. My dream is to work on the communications staff for
  54. the Atlanta hawks and one of my classes in undergrad,
  55. we had to do research on an organization that we wanted to work with.
  56. So I really loved how they are really true to Atlanta and make
  57. an impact and try to make a difference within the atlantic community,
  58. I also do want to stay on the path that I've been
  59. on so far with working in communications on the collegiate level.
  60. However, if the Atlanta hawks come to me before I can get my college job,
  61. then that's where I'm going.
