  1. Hi, Mr Merriman. And I'm Audrey. I'm Kylie,
  2. and we decided to do this project together as we emailed you. Um,
  3. so
  4. we decided to do a presentation,
  5. and the background is way better.
  6. Um, but we have to have our faces in it. So
  7. here we are.
  8. Um, Act one.
  9. Yeah.
  10. I really hope you enjoyed Christmas music. Anyways, the beginning of creation. We
  11. okay
  12. specified that the days that God came and created. So on the first day,
  13. it was, um, the light and darkest in our world because it
  14. day and night
  15. on the second day, he created the atmosphere in the firmament.
  16. So,
  17. yes, on day three, uh,
  18. he created the dry ground plants and our lives Not our lifestyle,
  19. but like our vegetation and stuff in plants and trees.
  20. And therefore, was the creation of the Sun moon and the stars.
  21. On Day five, he created the sea.
  22. Mhm.
  23. Well, yeah, the sea animals, fish and all those who are in their, uh, day six.
  24. He created land, animals and mankind.
  25. As you said, multiple times that he created man in his image.
  26. So he created Adam
  27. two
  28. till the land and basically take care of the Garden of Eden.
  29. And that's when he made Eve.
  30. I want to help. Out. Out. Lastly, Day seven was the creation of the Sabbath.
  31. So God rested. That's
  32. really what it is.
  33. God rested. Um, but our main characters in these
  34. our God, Adam and Eve,
  35. our key points were not put in there. I apologize, but I know them. I key points where
  36. the, uh this is how our world was created
  37. and how God rested on the seventh day, creating a Sunday for us.
  38. Um, hence why we do go to church and everything on Sundays,
  39. because it is the day of the Lord. Um,
  40. so if I go back here some historical background, Um,
  41. since it's undated how the world It's about how the world came about how God created,
  42. um,
  43. each day he created the animals on the planet and he created
  44. man to be in his image into rule over the land.
  45. Uh
  46. Um, so those are that's Act one for us. Um,
  47. Act two is the fall.
  48. So what we perceive the fault to be, uh,
  49. was when the serpent came and deceived Eve in the garden
  50. of, uh, Eden.
  51. So
  52. In Genesis 3 4. The serpent deceives even says that you won't die.
  53. God knows that your eyes will only be open as soon as you eat it.
  54. And you will live like God knowing both good and evil.
  55. So, uh, then took the fruit, ate it and then gave some to adam and he hit it.
  56. And as God came into the garden,
  57. they had said like, No, like,
  58. we can't do this like,
  59. not like we don't want you to be seen by us because we're naked and that's when died.
  60. Really, like, understood. Like Oh, like
  61. That's like, Who told you this? Like, who would give you this knowledge?
  62. Because I have it. So that's when the fog began to happen.
  63. Um,
  64. another thing was Cain and Abel.
  65. Um,
  66. Cain got jealous of Abel because
  67. his father had favored him more,
  68. and
  69. he then struck his brother with rock and
  70. yeah,
  71. what we assume to be Iraq
  72. and killed Abel.
  73. And they asked where his brother was and he said, And my brother's keeper,
  74. and that's when he came about and told them,
  75. aren't that they realized that the land had been
  76. contaminated with blood,
  77. and so they set came out and banned him from the garden and everything.
  78. So this is just more about the fruit right here. We have some pictures.
  79. Thank you, Kylie. Um
  80. uh, Noah. So God saw that the world of Noah was corrupt and that,
  81. um,
  82. that all the people were saying that there was a lot of sin in the world
  83. and that people were wicked and they weren't really having their eyes on the Lord.
  84. So in Genesis 6 11, he says, now, God saw that the earth had been corrupt,
  85. is filled with violence, he observed.
  86. The corruption of the world for everyone on the Earth was corrupt.
  87. So God said to know, I've decided to destroy all living creatures,
  88. for they have filled the earth of violence.
  89. Yes, I will wipe them all out
  90. along from the earth up. So, Noah, being in favor of God, he allowed them to
  91. Well, God allowed Noah and his family, which consisted of his wife,
  92. his three sons and their wives.
  93. Um, he told Noah to build a boat
  94. so that they would be able to, uh, be they would be able to survive,
  95. and that no one would have to fill the earth with
  96. two animals of each kind of a male and a female.
  97. So that's why God flooded the Earth because he
  98. saw that the world was corrupt and everything.
  99. So that's also deemed to be a fall.
  100. Um,
  101. some historical events that happened was that since it was undated,
  102. the historical events that happened is Adam and Eve got
  103. kicked out of the Garden of Eden of Eden.
  104. Cain murdered his brother Abel. Noah built the ark.
  105. God floods the earth and, um, the early accounts of creation and the flood.
  106. So at three, redemption begins. This is really where God comes into play and
  107. helps his Children out, no matter what's going on.
  108. Um, one of the big redemption begin acts.
  109. Excuse me?
  110. One of the big reduction act was Abraham. Um,
  111. God told Abraham, it's kind of like a
  112. This is God doing something for Abraham. Not like
  113. God,
  114. Not like Abraham doing something for God and
  115. expecting him to do something in return.
  116. So God had blessed Abraham Martin.
  117. And in Genesis 12, it says that I will make you into a great nation.
  118. I will bless you and make you famous. And you will be blessings to others.
  119. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt.
  120. All families on earth will be blessed through video.
  121. Meaning that Abraham hence the name
  122. our hands. A song that everyone knows how. Abraham had many sons.
  123. All of those people who went through Abraham and who are
  124. a part of his family were considered to be blessed.
  125. Uh,
  126. That's also yes. So Genesis two
  127. Abraham?
  128. Yeah. Abraham and Sarah were able to have kids. So
  129. due to their old age, but the Lord kept his word for Sarah because he told her,
  130. Well, an angel came to Sarah and ended up saying that like, Oh,
  131. you're gonna be pregnant with a child.
  132. And Sarah had laughed and everything. So
  133. she told Abraham since that she couldn't have kids,
  134. that he can go have a kid with her servant.
  135. And Abraham did that. So
  136. yes.
  137. Um,
  138. So in Genesis 21 the Lord kept his word and did for Sarah exactly what he had promised.
  139. She'd become pregnant,
  140. and she gave you a birth birth to a son for Abraham in his old age.
  141. This happened to be the time that God said it was an Abraham named their son Isaac.
  142. Eight days after Isaac was born. Abraham circumcised him as God has commanded.
  143. And also through circumcision was something that was considered to
  144. be blessed and being a part of Abraham's family.
  145. So,
  146. yeah,
  147. um,
  148. this is just a continuation of Abraham and how the angel
  149. Oh, the Lord called to angels to Abraham and told him to sacrifice his son Isaac,
  150. which is his only son from Sarah.
  151. And
  152. he had told him that because he was willing to listen to him for so long
  153. that,
  154. uh,
  155. that he'd be blessed because you obeyed me and not withheld even your son.
  156. Your only son. I swear on my own and that I will certainly bless you.
  157. It will multiply your descendants beyond number like the stars
  158. in the sky and the sand on the seashore.
  159. So, yeah,
  160. there's some pictures of Abraham.
  161. Um,
  162. so part three bedrooms. Continued Moses.
  163. Um, God helps Moses while leading his people away.
  164. Um, from Egypt, he performs 10 miracles to get his Children,
  165. which were the Israelites, including water being turned into blood frogs, lice,
  166. um,
  167. deceased livestock boils, hail forecast and hail forecast.
  168. Loki is darkness and the death of the firstborn, which is an exodus.
  169. Um, And then in Exodus 20 God brings Moses the 10 Commandments to show
  170. mhm.
  171. Um,
  172. what he needs to do.
  173. Joshua was one of the 12 spies
  174. and that were sent to go sending the to go spy on Canaan,
  175. the king and then land.
  176. So
  177. throughout the lifetime, Joshua had served the Lord and
  178. uh huh,
  179. God had told Joshua and Joshua 15-6.
  180. I know when we'll be able to stand against you as long as
  181. you live for I will be with you as I was with moses,
  182. and I will not feel are abandoned you.
  183. So once moses has passed away, Joshua came up and
  184. took them to the land that was promised to Abraham,
  185. Um, redemption continue David & Goliath. So, in 1st Samuel,
  186. um, the people of Israel wanted kings,
  187. and that wasn't what God wanted because they were supposed to be like leaders,
  188. not followers.
  189. So God got mad. But, um, Samuel anoints Saul as a king.
  190. And, uh, sauce did serve before he got rejected.
  191. And then David was in charge of choosing the other king. Um,
  192. so
  193. then they go and they fight the, uh, Philistines. And
  194. I believe,
  195. um, and,
  196. uh, David
  197. steps up and tries to say that he'll kill him.
  198. And everyone,
  199. uh,
  200. doubts David.
  201. But David goes and gets five stones from the river,
  202. and then he ends up taking a life down
  203. and
  204. just showing that how God,
  205. um, it was such a big part of David's life that he showed favor to him.
  206. Even against one of the biggest soldiers are main characters in the story Are God,
  207. Abraham, Moses, Joshua and David.
  208. So strong events that happened. And, uh, there's Abraham was born.
  209. Then Abraham travels that came in
  210. Yes, and then Isaac was born. And then Jacob and Esau are born,
  211. and then someone act for, um,
  212. it really goes into John the Baptist and everything from here on there.
  213. It's just
  214. more about redemption that God brings.
  215. John the Baptist was promised to Elizabeth, which is his mother,
  216. and it's He says,
  217. that in Luke one that he will turn the hearts of the fathers to their Children,
  218. and he will cause those who are rebellious to accept the wisdom of the godly.
  219. So many that John place, um, on earth, which is kind of like Jesus' cousin, or
  220. in a way, like he's his family.
  221. Um, he's here to spread the word of God as well.
  222. Um,
  223. that's why it says that he goes into the
  224. wilderness and he preaches to the people who are
  225. needed to be baptized and turns them to be got turns up to God to be forgiven.
  226. Um, then it goes into Jesus and saying how he was born.
  227. Um, if I go into here, these are the miracles that were performed.
  228. But the Virgin Mary, which is Mary, Jesus' mother.
  229. Uh, I'm sorry.
  230. An angel came to Mary, uh,
  231. Angel Gabriel and told her that God had favored her
  232. and that she was confused for a little bit.
  233. But he said not to be afraid.
  234. And he told her that she would give birth to Jesus and that he would
  235. be very great and will be called the son of the most the most high
  236. and the Lord.
  237. God will give him the throne of his ancestor David,
  238. and he will reign over Israel forever, and his kingdom will never end.
  239. Um, so that's when God comes in
  240. and then look for it says the spirit of the Lord is upon me,
  241. for he has anointed me to bring good news to the core.
  242. He is set to proclaim the captives,
  243. and we're really released to the blind to see the oppressed will
  244. be set free and the time of the Lord's favorite outcome,
  245. which is also right here.
  246. Um,
  247. here are some of the miracles that Jesus performed.
  248. Um
  249. then Jesus said to him, Don't tell anyone about this.
  250. He healed a man from leprosy, among other vehicles,
  251. and one of the officers asked if Jesus can heal him and he said, uh,
  252. he healed him and he said,
  253. Go back home because he believed it has happened and he was healed.
  254. So, um, let me, Let's go back to here.
  255. So the crucifixion is basically just, uh when Jesus was crucified, How he says,
  256. like Father, forgive them for they know not what they're doing.
  257. So this is showed his redemption because God had given up their life and his life
  258. to save all of our sins and to so all of our sins can be forgiven.
  259. And so we can all be saved.
  260. Um he word pictures.
  261. Here is the history behind it was Jesus born Herod The Great dies, um,
  262. saddles or you first using a Europe pose born in Judea becomes a Roman province.
  263. Jesus.
  264. Visit paper was the boys Elias and Judah, rebel against Rome and so on and so forth.
  265. So Kyle is here.
  266. Okay, so next we have our five.
  267. The mission of the church. The main characters are the
  268. 12 disciples. We click here. It's solved. The 12 disciples, Jesus and Peter.
  269. Uh huh.
  270. Um, this is the aftermath of the resurrection of Jesus. After the resurrection.
  271. A total of 50 days past there. The disciples,
  272. um the disciples are in the upper room, greeted by the Holy Spirit.
  273. The Holy Spirit poured out of the early about the early church,
  274. encouraging them to work for the ministry to share
  275. good news about the gospel to the world.
  276. Another event that happened in Act five
  277. is the meeting of Saul and Jesus. Saul encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus.
  278. He became one of the early church apostles and leaders in
  279. e vandalism of the Gospel In general Gentiles,
  280. kings and the people of Israel.
  281. Uh, we go back.
  282. Yeah,
