The Korean University Occupational Therapy Fellowship Programs aligned with the
00:31 - 00:31
mission of the university.
00:32 - 00:37
Creating relevant, reflective occupational therapy practitioners who serve clients and
00:37 - 00:40
their families with a focus on respect for diversity.
00:41 - 00:46
Local, national and global service and holistic care fellows received
00:47 - 00:51

01:02 - 01:05
The creating fellowship programs have five core elements.
01:06 - 01:11
Clinical practice comprises approximately 75 to 85% of fellowship hours.
01:12 - 01:15
The remaining time is spent learning the ins and outs
01:15 - 01:19
of academia, where the fellow service lab assistants and design
01:20 - 01:23
and teach lab and lecture sessions for entry level OTV
01:24 - 01:26
courses that relate to their specific practice area.
01:28 - 01:32
We collaborate with the physical therapy residency programs to offer
01:33 - 01:36
the fellows and inter professional practice curriculum in this core
01:37 - 01:41
curriculum, fellows and residents attend courses to expand professional knowledge
01:42 - 01:46
beyond entry level practice, examine evidence and apply it to
01:46 - 01:50
practice, collaborate on challenging or shared client cases and experiences
01:52 - 01:55
and share the unique value of their respective professions as
01:55 - 01:58
they develop and present case studies and clinical narratives.
02:02 - 02:03
Another court element is service.
02:04 - 02:07
Each program service is unique and relates to the specific
02:08 - 02:09
clinical practice area.
02:12 - 02:14
The fifth core element is scholarship, in which each fellow
02:15 - 02:19
