Hi everybody,

my name is Addison Avenue mont and I am very

excited to be taking this class with everyone and just

getting to know everyone a little bit better and exploring

more into tough choices throughout like lifetimes and everything.

Um so a little bit about me,

I moved here five years ago from California in the bay Area.

Um so I went to high school here and did everything like

that and then I decided I just really liked Boise state,

I liked the location of it

and since moving from the Bay Area, I just really,

I really love Idaho and I just wanted to stay here for a little bit longer.

So yeah, that is why I picked Boise state.

I am a biology major here. I am a sophomore.

Um

I guess why my sophomore,

I some little facts about me as I really like being outdoors,

I go hunting quite a bit during you know hunting season, I got a deer last year,

so it's pretty awesome.

Um I really love being up in the mountains and going to bogus since moving

here this year was actually my first time ever going to bogus for some reason.

So that was a little bit,

it was a little weird,

I feel like I could have gone before that but

I took up snowboarding and I really liked that.

So I've been going pretty frequently and just you know,

trying to get better learning to do more things up there.

Um I like fishing during the summer,

that's something I do quite frequently actually.

Um

another thing about me

would be, I started to really like biology because of living in California.

I was a part of the johns Hopkins program,

which allowed me to do all sorts of things around the world actually.

But one of my favorite things was,

we went to the Monterey Bay aquarium and we were allowed to scuba dive and kind

of dissect certain animals from the ocean and

learn more about it and biology itself.

And so I thought that was really cool.

And ever since then I've kind of always wanted to be

a doctor or at least something in the medical field,

which is why I'm pursuing biology.

Another thing about me, I really just like spending time with family and friends.

I have a dog. His name is Ace. He's an Australian shepherd. Um,

are you liking it with him taking him on walks, doing things

like that?

Another thing about me,

I absolutely love all things Disney I have since I

was young and always will I try and go like

once or twice a year.

So that's been very, very fun and something I just really,

really enjoyed doing because of Covid it was kind of hard,

But nowadays I went twice this last year in 2021, so that's been awesome.

Um I really missed it.

Another thing about me

would be,

I love the beach and traveling.

I went to Mexico this year, hawaii, um, a few different states.

Um that's been really, really fun.

I've been trying to kind of road trip more and do things like that.

So hopefully this summer I will be able to participate and do things like that.

Um when thinking about this course, I really want to learn more about tough choices.

I feel like there's something I always contemplate is like what choices I

want to make in life and how some of them can be really,

really difficult decisions.

Like even just applying for colleges, like when I was making my choice,

I feel like that was a tough choice in my life that I had

to overcome and figure out what I wanted and what was best for me

and I feel like that's something I definitely struggle

with is figuring out tough choices and what will best

and what will make me happy and what will be what will be best for my future.

And so I'm very excited about this class to just dive deeper into,

you know, that subject and figuring out, you know,

different people's train of thoughts and tough choices and

dealing with that.

That's one of the main reasons I decided

to take this class was because that's something I

struggle with a lot and it would just

be interesting to know different things about it.

Mm hmm

Yeah. This year I'm a little stressed I do have a lot going on class wise.

So I'm really hoping everything like that turns

out and I'm hoping this class in particular is

really interesting and fun and I'm able to learn a lot and get a lot done.

So yes,

one last thing I think would be interesting to know about me

is

trying to think of an interesting fact,

probably that

I have been hunting since I was like

60, I also used to be a competitive archery shooter.

That's something I like to talk about and tell people about.

So yeah,

I'm really excited to meet all of you guys and get to know you guys a little bit better.
