  2. It is so great to have all of you in the class. This is a brief check in video.
  3. Um we are in week two so welcome. I'm glad you all are in the class.
  4. I want to make sure that everyone has the textbook. I know it looks backwards.
  5. My uh technology skills are not good enough to like flip
  6. it and then you can read it the correct way.
  7. But anyway most people describe this as the green book,
  8. it's called reading collections and you get it at the Kilgore college bookstore.
  9. So that is the book that you need for english 0301 different and apart from
  10. english 13 one that textbook is an
  11. online textbook which is listed within blackboard.
  12. So this is really a brief check in video.
  13. I just want to kind of get some feedback from everyone to see how things are going.
  14. I want to be sure that everyone is understanding how to navigate
  15. blackboard and so what you see on the screen shows the content folder open.
  16. I opened it with this little arrow right here and then you see a week one, week two,
  17. week three, week four and it goes on the way to week number eight.
  18. So um during week one hopefully you were able to do some practice some
  19. searching and able to look at different
  20. aspects of blackboard if there's still anything with
  21. in black board that you're not understanding how to find how to find assignments,
  22. how to upload assignments, how to download something.
  23. Please send me an email or text message or phone call or remind message.
  24. Speaking of remind.
  25. So from this class 0301 I had one student sign up
  26. for remind on time Marlon hopefully I'm saying your names correctly.
  27. Um I added 20 points to marlins grade on topic.
  28. Main idea from there I noticed that Claire Ruby Aspen also joined
  29. on yesterday added 10 points to your topic and main idea.
  30. If you have not signed up for a mind please
  31. do so I send information and reminders out regularly.
  32. Um In addition to remind in addition to showing you
  33. a picture of the textbook I just wanna be sure that
  34. you understand that there is a checklist for 0301 this
  35. week you should be doing supporting assignments related to grammar.
  36. So you have your grammar assignments in 13 01 But
  37. there are some additional practices in this class 03010301 English.
  38. So be sure that you are completing these assignments,
  39. the different quizzes and exercises and from there you
  40. see we'll go into week three and so on.
  41. Um Like I said this was just an opportunity for me to kind of do a quick check in,
  42. see how things are going.
