00:02 - 00:04
Hi. My name is Brahman Lloyd, and I am the
00:04 - 00:06
new junior marketing coordinator for Sage.
00:07 - 00:10
When my friend, who works as the top marketing executive
00:11 - 00:13
at the Body shop, told me that she would love
00:13 - 00:16
the opportunity to quit her job and come take this
00:16 - 00:18
entry level position at stage, I knew I had to
00:18 - 00:18
jump at the opportunity.
00:19 - 00:21
I've also heard a lot of good things about the
00:21 - 00:22
company over the years on.
00:23 - 00:24
I'm really excited to become a part of the team,
00:25 - 00:27
so I'd like Thio introduce myself to you today.
00:28 - 00:30
I'll start off by talking a little bit about me.
00:31 - 00:32
I would also like to show you some examples of
00:32 - 00:35
my work and finally talk about my aesthetic style before
00:36 - 00:37
giving you my contact information.
00:38 - 00:38
Uh huh.
00:43 - 00:46
So getting to know me, we'll start off with my
00:46 - 00:55
background. So I have been in various administrative assistant roles
00:55 - 00:58
for the past few years, primarily an entry level accounting
00:59 - 01:02
positions, which is funny because I have never really liked
01:03 - 01:04
numbers and much more of a creative person.
01:05 - 01:07
Um, over the last couple of years, I've been looking
01:08 - 01:11
into sales coordinator position with a Freightliner dealership.
01:12 - 01:15
Ah nde over the past few months, I actually completed
01:15 - 01:18
a work placement term with the same dealership in the
01:18 - 01:21
marketing field, which was really great hands on experience.
01:26 - 01:28
So over the past two years I've been working on
01:28 - 01:31
gaining a business deployment with a specialty in marketing.
01:32 - 01:33
I just completed that this spring.
01:34 - 01:39
I'm also currently working on getting public relations certification.
01:40 - 01:41
Just give me a little bit more knowledge in the
01:41 - 01:51
industry. So my passion, I'm really happy that I made
01:51 - 01:55
the switch in Korea's over to the marketing field as
01:55 - 01:57
I found that I'm really passionate about help building strong
01:58 - 01:59
brands for companies that I support.
02:00 - 02:03
And these are typically local, sustainable and ethical companies, and
02:03 - 02:06
I think the stage is definitely one of those companies.
02:11 - 02:13
So next I'd like to show you some examples of
02:14 - 02:14
my work.
02:15 - 02:17
So I have had the opportunity to create some logos
02:18 - 02:20
for two of my mum small businesses as well as
02:20 - 02:21
my own small business.
02:22 - 02:25
So in the top right corner that is an image
02:26 - 02:27
of a logo that I created for my mom's small
02:28 - 02:29
business. It'll vice aesthetics.
02:29 - 02:34
She makes and sells soap in the bottom right corner.
02:35 - 02:37
There is a logo that I created for my mom's
02:37 - 02:42
small, far prairie ups on dhe in the top left.
02:43 - 02:45
Here there is an image that I created for my
02:46 - 02:47
own small business Brahmans Print shop.
02:48 - 02:50
So I make him sell prints, and I tried to
02:50 - 02:54
use similar colors and fonts and shapes in the logo,
02:54 - 03:02
as I use in my work next, taking a look
03:02 - 03:03
at my aesthetics.
03:04 - 03:06
So, first of all, I really like to work with
03:07 - 03:16
simple designs, so I find this simple designs really make
03:16 - 03:18
my work look clean and timeless.
03:18 - 03:22
I also find that these designs a very digestible for
03:22 - 03:22
the audience.
03:23 - 03:27
Um, there were also very versatile and could be translated
03:27 - 03:31
across a lot of different mediums really well, so I
03:31 - 03:33
could use the same logo on a phone as a
03:34 - 03:35
desktop computer, et cetera.
03:39 - 03:42
I also really like to work with a tone colors,
03:43 - 03:45
so I've put a few examples of these here.
03:45 - 03:49
I really just enjoy the way that these colors look,
03:49 - 03:50
and I also think that they do a great job
03:51 - 03:56
of representing the natural products that the companies that I
03:56 - 04:04
like to represent produce the final aesthetic preference that I
04:04 - 04:06
have is really just a personal preference.
04:07 - 04:09
I really like to work with abstract shapes.
04:10 - 04:12
I think that they are fun and playful.
04:12 - 04:14
And they just like the companies that I work with
04:14 - 04:15
seem friendly and approachable.
04:22 - 04:25
So I'm really grateful for the opportunity to work with
04:25 - 04:25
this company.
04:25 - 04:28
And I'm super excited to get to know everybody hit.
04:28 - 04:31
Um, So, like I had mentioned, I did complete my
04:32 - 04:34
business diploma, but I'm excited toe learn a lot more
04:35 - 04:38
hands on in the role with this company.
04:38 - 04:41
I think that my aesthetic style is going to be
04:41 - 04:43
a great match for the branding that this company currently
04:44 - 04:47
has. I'm really excited toe dive into that a little
04:47 - 04:50
bit. Um, on I can't wait to meet each of
04:50 - 04:52
you. So on the screen is my contact information.
04:53 - 04:55
So we have my email address, a swell as my
04:55 - 04:59
phone number, and you can find me at office three
04:59 - 05:00
b on the second floor.
05:01 - 05:02
Thank you very much for the time.
05:02 - 05:03
And I hope you'll have a great day
