you a little bit about our upcoming summer camp, which
00:07 - 00:09
looks at the ancient americans.
00:10 - 00:14
So south american tribes like Aztecs, the Maya and the
00:14 - 00:16
Lincolns. Yeah.
00:17 - 00:20
Um over the course of a week shouldn't will get
00:20 - 00:23
a chance to learn about the three major civilizations that
00:23 - 00:26
have just mentioned the three major civilizations of south american
00:27 - 00:29
culture. Uh over this week they'll look at each of
00:30 - 00:32
these individually and they'll get a chance to look at
00:32 - 00:37
the different religious, political and economic differences between all of
00:37 - 00:38
these different cultures.
00:40 - 00:43
Um as you can see from the picture here, students
00:43 - 00:46

00:46 - 00:51
architecture, social structures and also just the general history of
00:51 - 00:52
these different social groups.
00:53 - 00:57
And it's quite important because these different cultures Were only
00:57 - 00:59
discovered in a round of 1400s but they have a
01:00 - 01:03
huge impact on the rest of the world including today.
01:03 - 01:05
And some of this impact, as you can see from
01:06 - 01:09
the right comes from a very unique trade items.
01:09 - 01:13
For instance, tomatoes, potatoes, tobacco, chocolate chilies.
01:13 - 01:18
All of these originated from South american civilizations and have
01:18 - 01:21
been brought over to europe and Asia and Africa from
01:21 - 01:21
these areas.
01:22 - 01:25
So a lot of these, um, a lot of these
01:25 - 01:28
trade items made their way to our cultures through the
01:28 - 01:28
south americans.
01:29 - 01:32
And in addition to that, they are also noted for
01:32 - 01:38
