  1. Hi everyone, my name is Maddie Tanner and I'm an
  2. upcoming junior.
  3. I'm a marketing major and a political science minor.
  4. Um, a few things about me is I'm originally from
  5. Cleveland Ohio, that's her.
  6. I'm actually there right now.
  7. I usually spend my summers here just to catch up
  8. with family and friends and I was born here and
  9. raised and I lived here until I graduated high school.
  10. I am a Browns fan always have been, always, will
  11. be, I was rooting for them even when they were
  12. bad, which was my whole life, up until last year,
  13. um, I always wanted to go out of state for
  14. college and I was lucky enough to have the privilege
  15. and opportunity to do so.
  16. So I was touring a bunch and my uncle who
  17. lives in charlotte had called me and told me to
  18. visit the campus, so I did and the rest is
  19. history and I love it here.
  20. Um I am the social media manager for Earth Club.
  21. This is us, usually do cleanups every other saturday.
  22. It's a great way to get involved in the community
  23. and help it out and be nice to Mother Earth.
  24. I've been involved with this since I was a freshman
  25. and I absolutely adore it.
  26. I love everything about it.
  27. I'm also a women in business ambassador.
  28. I am in management consulting club and I'm in the
  29. real estate club and I am currently the communications director
  30. from a non profit organization called Where Your Crown.
  31. And that is run by a senior here named Lauren
  32. Martin. Um, as you can tell, I love to be
  33. involved in things.
  34. So if you have any questions about any clubs or
  35. if you have a club that you want to start
  36. call me, I will join in the future.
  37. I definitely want to be marketing for some eco friendly
  38. company, whether it's skin care products or just something that
  39. helps out the earth.
  40. I feel like I'd be really by alley aside from
  41. organizations. I love coffee plants, yoga, pasta, the moon, all
  42. that. So right here is my uncle's coffee shop.
  43. I come from a long line of entrepreneurs in my
  44. family, so this is right in Asheville.
  45. He has four locations and check it out if you're
  46. ever in the area.
  47. I personally love it.
  48. I'm not biased.
  49. I don't think my family and I used to run
  50. the Cleveland 10-K almost every year up until the past
  51. two years ago because everything was virtual and that just
  52. didn't sound fun to us.
  53. But it was a great way for all of us
  54. to be together.
  55. My family and I are super close.
  56. So there's a cute picture all of us hanging out
  57. right there right before the race and then I'm super
  58. close with my family.

  60. We usually catch up every two years.
  61. We go on a family vacation.
  62. This was an ocean isle beach.
  63. Um, as you can see a giant storm is coming.
  64. That happens every time we try to take pictures.
  65. But yeah, we will have our next family vacation next
  66. summer because it got postponed last year due to Covid,
  67. just like everything else.
