  1. The following presentation will explain how I will go about
  2. implementing a physical activity experience with young Children within a
  3. workplace setting.
  4. The following information is received from the website Active for
  5. Life. The experience I plan to implement is a hopscotch
  6. game which assists in developing a child's balance, concentration and
  7. throwing skills.
  8. To set up the activity, I will need chalk to
  9. draw the court, which should have 10 bucks, is labeled
  10. 1 to 10 and different colored bean bags for the
  11. Children to throw during the game to start the activity.
  12. I will ask Children to line up in a line,
  13. all choosing a bean bag of their choice.
  14. The first child in line will throw their beanbag into
  15. the first box and hop over box one to box
  16. too And continue hoping until they reach box 10.
  17. When the child gets to box 10, they'll turn around
  18. and hop back to the start.
  19. Once they get to the box that has there been
  20. bag, they'll stop to pick it up and move to
  21. the back of the line, the next player goes and
  22. follows the same steps until everyone in the line has
  23. had their turn.
  24. Once all Children have had their first turns, they'll all
  25. go again until everyone has thrown their bags into box
  26. 10. When the activity has concluded, I will set aside
  27. some time to self reflect on the experience.
  28. I had just taught through asking reflective questions firstly.
  29. How will I know if the activity was taught effectively?
  30. Well, I would know if it was taught effectively through
  31. Children participating in the activity correctly, as they would show
  32. an understanding of the rules that I explained in the
  33. beginning. Secondly, what responses from Children would show me that
  34. they were engaged and enjoyed the activity Well, throughout the
  35. activity, I would know they were engaged as I may
  36. hear laughing as Children participate in the activity, or if
  37. they cheer on their other peers as they collect their
  38. beanbags. Thirdly, what responses from Children will show me that
  39. they had difficulty in engaging in the activity responses that
  40. would show me they had difficulty may include Children asking
  41. questions throughout the experience.
  42. These questions may include where do I throw the beanbag
  43. or where do I hope to lastly, what responses from
  44. the Children would show me that some form of learning
  45. through movement and physical activity had taken place.
  46. While responses from Children may include them asking educators to
  47. play games with them, such as throwing and catching through
  48. asking this Children would have learned how to throw and
  49. catch through paying the activity previously.
  50. Therefore, showing development and learning This activity is an example
  51. of the anc us standard, 1.2.1 as through the game
  52. of Hopscotch, Children learn and develop in many ways, they
  53. learn how to balance how to concentrate and focus on
  54. a point while they throw.
  55. And they also learn social skills as they laugh and
  56. play along with their peers.
  57. Thank you
