  1. Hello. My name is joseph Farah.
  2. So for my lesson plan or my unit plan uh
  3. My unit plan focuses more around middle school and high
  4. school students.
  5. But it can be modified for elementary and or even
  6. university uh students as well.
  7. So what I chose to do was doing overall E.

  9. Lesson plan that still focuses on the english language with
  10. reading, writing speaking and so on.
  11. And so the goal and everything that I'm doing is
  12. based off of the chinese curriculum because I do live
  13. and work here in Beijing china.
  14. So I thought to do it based on everything with
  15. that. And so the materials that I use, I've gathered
  16. from their textbooks as well as some american textbooks and
  17. things and so on to put together.
  18. And so what it does is it teaches, each lesson
  19. will focus on a topic.
  20. So the first lesson is either food.
  21. The next one talks about buildings and then people movies
  22. traveling and so on and so on and so on.
  23. Uh and it will cover a wide range of vocabulary
  24. um for describing.
  25. Um And then also each unit will focus on a
  26. different grammatical thing is whether it's present tense, past tense.
  27. Um If it's going to talk about listing and so
  28. on and so on and what this eventually will lead
  29. to as a final project where they're going to be
  30. able to get up and talk for two minutes about
  31. a trip or some place they've been that will include
  32. everything such as talking about the people and the food,
  33. the restaurant, the events that they saw statues, whatever it
  34. is um that they really enjoyed as well as the
  35. traveling experience.
  36. So they will be going back and forth between past
  37. tense, present tense uh and so on and so forth.
  38. Uh So the materials that I typically able to use
  39. is a P B.
  40. T. But also there's worksheets involved, there's gonna be posters
  41. that they're going to have to make um to help
  42. keep the words posted around the room that they can
  43. use for reference because everything is going to be scaffold
  44. and build upon it um to help each other out.
  45. Um And again the criteria and the standards that are
  46. met really actually more aligned with the chinese standards, but
  47. also I have it aligning with some of the California
  48. standard as well because that is typically the standards that
  49. most schools um use in Beijing if they go for
  50. an international route as well.
