  1. buenos dias.
  2. Oh I've almost uh and peace ark on our interactive folder over a ar verbs.
  3. We're gonna need a little bit you can see a
  4. picture of what one final product looks like here.
  5. We're gonna need a couple of supplies for this activity.
  6. And with that you will see down here that I have.
  7. I have a ruler, a pen and three pieces of paper,
  8. two of which are white and one that I guess is salmon.
  9. You can have this whatever color you want. It just needs to not be white.
  10. Okay so as we start off with our papers we got to fold them,
  11. do a little origami here.
  12. All right, we're gonna
  13. Fold this down. I'm going to go to seven
  14. seven inches
  15. from the end here
  16. make a mark and then I'll take my paper and I'll fold it over to that mark.
  17. Put the crease in it.
  18. Set it over here for the moment.
  19. Okay on my other paper, the one that's not white.
  20. Then we're going to measure down 8.5 inches
  21. 8.5 inches.
  22. We're gonna put our mark here
  23. and do the same thing. Now fold it down.
  24. Mhm.
  25. And put a crease in and then I can set this one inside
  26. this one.
  27. Okay
  28. our next paper
  29. we're gonna measure down
  30. 10 inches.
  31. So I'm here, come over
  32. put my mark
  33. and then I'm a fold bring it down to the line and put
  34. a crease in it and then we'll put this one inside that one.
  35. So now I can flip open my chart
  36. to its various pages.
  37. Okay. And and good.
  38. Hold it down like that.
  39. If you'd like,
  40. you could put a staple here and a staple here and
  41. you kind of keep it together if you would like to.
  42. I generally like my not stable, but then I risk
  43. losing it as well.
  44. All right, and let's go back then too.
  45. Mm
  46. There it is.
  47. Okay to our
  48. our chart now and
  49. on these we've got them labeled. So on your cover here,
  50. we needed to say a ar verbs,
  51. espanol, uno
  52. and it needs to be neat. Okay.
  53. And those for some of you, this is not neat,
  54. but I don't want it just to be penciled in a ar verbs espanol.
  55. You know, your name also needs to be over here somewhere, your choice of where
  56. and then we have to label it. So our first label
  57. should say what is a verb
  58. with a question mark
  59. And then
  60. the next one
  61. verbs can do what.
  62. And then our third label down
  63. what you need to know
  64. our next one,
  65. a ar verb endings
  66. And we'll make this last one. Say
  67. how?
  68. All right now let's look at the next page here.
  69. So we've opened up the front cover and these are some ideas for what you could say,
  70. what is a verb in your own words,
  71. but it should look something like this. Perhaps have some examples
  72. as I have here
  73. and I've got my little ojo spanish verbs in their infinitive forms,
  74. they end in either A R E R or I are.
  75. And another
  76. another place to go for
  77. This is going to be our verb slides that you should have already looked
  78. that by now I've been working with.
  79. And
  80. the first slide into that
  81. talks a lot about what verbs are
  82. and a little bit about spanish verbs
  83. to go along with that.
  84. And if you need to keep it on this one for a little bit before you move on, that is fine.
  85. I'm going to go ahead and go back in the screen share and
  86. if you're ready then we will go on to the next page.
  87. So on this page, what can verbs do ar verbs can do what
  88. And the main theme with this one needs to be changed.
  89. All right. We need to be talking about
  90. how when the subject changes, the verb changes
  91. or how a verb matches
  92. their subject
  93. and how do you know what the subject is?
  94. Who's doing the action?
  95. Yeah.
  96. Yeah.
  97. Okay. And I'm going to move on to the next one.
  98. All right. This next one
  99. we're entitled what you need to know
  100. absolutely needs to have
  101. this chart in it up here
  102. and then use some different verbs from what I used
  103. here to say things because as the subject change and
  104. we change the er verb by taking off the er ending and adding an O us almost or on.
  105. That allows us to say things rather than to dance. Like
  106. we dance or rather than
  107. to talk,
  108. she talks
  109. or I walk or you jump
  110. and all of these so I'm gonna go through
  111. okay
  112. on the verb presentations again.
  113. Actually I'm not I need to go over to the subject pronouns
  114. okay with our subject pronouns. This particular slide.
  115. This is the chart that you need to have on this section.
  116. Might need to pause the video here while you get this down.
  117. Um But yo is I two? Is you
  118. ls he a is she who stead is you when you're speaking formally?
  119. No. So Treze anos otras means we
  120. vos otras and boasts otras,
  121. you all
  122. a euros and areas is they?
  123. And just a this is like talking to a group of people,
  124. you all.
  125. This is the same chart that we used when we were
  126. on the last unit when we were talking about
  127. subject pronouns and at that time we were talking about the verb sarah along with it
  128. rather than our er verbs.
  129. All right on the next one we have the er endings
  130. and I don't have my slide up here for that one
  131. but I do need to go back to the screen share
  132. and now we're gonna go over to our our verb chart.
  133. This chart needs to be
  134. on this section of our verb endings and it's a little bit
  135. more in depth in the previous chart that we were working with
  136. in that it has more than just the subject pronouns.
  137. We also have the er verb endings O. S. Ah almost
  138. ice. And on
  139. with this I would suggest using a different verb than a blur.
  140. Okay, since I used a blur on this example,
  141. you could use calming our trabajar tomar mira or any of the other ones on our list
  142. and you might need to pause a little bit on this section to get this down
  143. and when you're ready go ahead and move forward and we'll go on to the next part.
  144. Which is how
  145. how do we do this? So really kind of already said
  146. how we do this. But some things that we could add
  147. would be
  148. to congregate. You're a ar verb.
  149. Follow these steps,
  150. drop the er ending
  151. and if you're using a blur then you would drop the E. R. And have the stem Obel
  152. and then fill in the correct pronoun in front.
  153. So like the yo the to the L. A area
  154. et cetera
  155. and then
  156. put the ending on the verb.
  157. And if I go back to that screen share
  158. and I come back a couple of sludge. Is that one slide?
  159. This really is a good example of what goes on this page.
  160. So in here we've started with three verbs and three different subject pronouns.
  161. So we have a blur
  162. stem Obel
  163. and then yo and then we add the correct ending, Pablo
  164. bye! Lar
  165. take off the er you've got bile
  166. r r
  167. pronoun is going to be two on this one,
  168. add the correct ending for to buy less. So now you dance
  169. trabajar,
  170. take off the A. R. And if we want to say he works then we'll add the A L trabaja.
  171. And that pretty well sums up what you need to do for your interactive folder here.
  172. Mm
  173. Okay,
  174. back to here. Boom. All right.
  175. So hopefully I've explained this thoroughly enough guys,
  176. you'll need to turn this in.
  177. If you're on my online class then you'll be turning this in on flip grid.
  178. There will be a spot in your flip grid to go through and explain
  179. your
  180. folder and what's in it
  181. as you go through it. And I will be grading that for you guys.
  182. My in person classes,
  183. I have your actual projects and we'll grade them from the project.
  184. All right guys
  185. que les vaya bien until next time.
  186. Have a great day.
