  1. eso. When I was about 12, I really started struggling
  2. with mental illness.
  3. Um, both depression and anxiety had been huge issues for
  4. me in the past.
  5. Um, and although this is ongoing throughout the next several
  6. years and it came in different forms, this problem really
  7. started when I was around 12.
  8. When I was in the 6th and 7th grade, I
  9. started struggling a lot.
  10. Um, and this obviously impacted my, um, moral values the
  11. way that I view the world way.
  12. I viewed other people the way of being myself.
  13. It affected my personality development in deciding who I would
  14. be. I think this as well as, um, loss in
  15. my family has impacted, um, my empathy, the way they
  16. care for people.
  17. But not only this.
  18. Obviously it was greatly impacted by Marie self esteem and
  19. my self confidence.
  20. And when I was around the stage, I had really,
  21. really low self esteem and self confidence because of different
  22. things. That happened.
  23. And it led to a lot of struggles with again
  24. depression and anxiety and walked through lots of different ways
  25. that that has shown itself in an eating disorder in,
  26. um, self harm, have really both been big aspects of
  27. that and being, um, through what I would say is
  28. the hardest part of that now, being on the other
  29. side of it, I could see that really impacted my
  30. personality. And you m what it has really affected is
  31. my self esteem, in my view of myself.
  32. And as that has improved, my mental health has improved
  33. greatly. Um and so I think this when they started,
  34. was really a turning point for how I viewed myself
  35. and how I viewed the rest of the world.
