  1. Hello, everyone, Welcome back.
  2. Our lesson for today is talking about biblical teaching of
  3. marriage. And, uh, this could be found wondering in one
  4. Christian ethics, human relationships and religion.
  5. So we're going to start off with certain slides to
  6. discuss the importance of marriage in the Christian society and,
  7. of course, using versus from the Bible.
  8. You confined this lesson in your textbook pages.
  9. 2021 22.
  10. Let's start together.
  11. Marriage is a biblical covenant.
  12. God created marriage to last long, and it is important
  13. to understand how this biblical partnership should be.
  14. So let's see, How should it be?
  15. God made marriage God created male and female in his
  16. image. God uniquely created them like no other creation.
  17. They were after his likeness, both male and female.
  18. We're after his likeness, his image and his character.
  19. Men and women are much more alike because they are
  20. created in the image of God.
  21. That's very important to know barrens is an expression of
  22. God's creativity in men.
  23. Think about it.
  24. Man and women are extremely unique.
  25. There's nothing else like it anywhere.
  26. That's so true.
  27. Remember, marriage was not invented, my man, but was created
  28. and instituted by God.
  29. Man did not have a choice in that creation on
  30. God, married them and made the Garden of Eden their
  31. hope. So God's plan for marriage is one man for
  32. one woman.
  33. And we find this under Genesis 2 24 25 marriages,
  34. Not some kind of experimental program where you try different
  35. partners until you decide which one you like the best.
  36. So this is very important to know one man for
  37. one woman.
  38. God's plan is for one man to love one woman.
  39. The only exception is through the death of one of
  40. the partners, and then you are free to remarry.
  41. So in our Christian religion here you are only allowed
  42. to re bury under a very harsh circumstances.
  43. Uh, if both parties decide, decide on a divorce or
  44. if unfortunately, one of the partners passes away in order
  45. to experience God's plan, he gives some very clear instructions.
  46. We are to leave our father and mother.
  47. We are to cleave onto each other, and we are
  48. to become one flesh.
  49. So we see unity here.
  50. The man united with the woman and that's the institution
  51. of marriage.
  52. Marriage partnership calls for a Covenant of Submission to yield
  53. your life's each other and to God.
  54. So human love alone is not sufficient, but must also
  55. have God's love to make this marriage covenant possible.
  56. So we need to follow the word of the Lord
  57. according to the biblical teaching.
  58. In order for our marriages to be successful.
  59. This is a call to mutual submission which brings about
  60. a covenant with either one ruling over the other.
  61. So basically both are in charge, but there has to
  62. be some sacrifices.
  63. It is a call to covenant where the husband is
  64. the leader.
  65. He is the head of the family who provides for
  66. his family and protect his family, where the wife within
  67. this covenant submit to his leadership.
  68. But again, she has also her role and by the
  69. way, the rules.
  70. We will be discussing them and later on, er, lessons
  71. where we're going to specifically show you the roll off
  72. Children, the role of the father and the roll off
  73. the A man's response to this biblical covenant and yielding
  74. to God would result in his willingness to sacrifice his
  75. life for his wife and his family.
  76. So there's a lot of sacrifice okay.
  77. There's a lot of love in this institution, and mutual
  78. respect and understanding A surrendered husband to God makes it
  79. easy for a woman to submit to him.
  80. Because a woman usually always likes the person that is,
  81. that follows the word of God.
  82. Ah, happy wife makes a happy life.
  83. We always say that that's a known say, and finally,
  84. one of the greatest benefits of a biblical covenant is
  85. the joy of passing down our spiritual heritage to our
  86. Children and to our grandchildren.
  87. So we have to spread the message of God.
  88. And when they see how our partnership worked out, they
  89. will want that for themselves.
  90. Also in the future.
  91. The Bible teaches us that our marriage is sacred, and
  92. it should be for the spiritual benefit of for our
  93. Children and our grandchildren.
  94. This is why we must live constant consistently before our
  95. Children. Marriage is probably one of the greatest opportunities to
  96. experience the goodness and the grace of God in your
  97. personal life and to experience love of each other.
  98. So really family brings a lot of love and joy,
  99. and marriage is a vivid illustration of God's love for
  100. us. So let us aside right now to determine to
  101. live for the glory of God.
  102. That is great.
  103. Now I also want to add one more thing is
  104. that marriage is seen in the Bible as very valuable
  105. as something that should be taken very, very seriously.
  106. So I want to read apart from the Bible.
  107. Genesis 2 21 24 So the Lord God caused the
  108. man to fall into a deep sleep.
  109. And while he was sleeping, he took one of the
  110. man's rips and closed up the place with flesh.
  111. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rip
  112. he had taken out of the match and he brought
  113. her to the man.
  114. The man said, This is now bone of my bones
  115. and flesh of my flesh.
  116. She shall be called woman, for she was taken out
  117. of a man.
  118. For this reason, a man will leave his father and
  119. mother and be united to his wife.
  120. And they will become one flesh.
  121. This is one of my favorites.
  122. Okay, the's the verse of marriage.
  123. Okay. Genesis 2 21 The writers of the Bible show
  124. here that they believed God intended right from the beginning
  125. that men and women should join together for life as
  126. couples. The bond between them produces new Children.
  127. And in this way the creation continues.
  128. Of course, conservation.
  129. And it is so important to also know that this
  130. is one of the 10 Commandments you shall not commit
  131. adultery. Exodus 2014 Christians believe that it's very important for
  132. people who are married to remain faithful.
  133. This is essential, Okay, because adultery adultery leads to a
  134. lack of trust and shows disrespect for the holiness of
  135. marriage that breaks the promises, the vows that you had
  136. actually presented in front of God in the church.
  137. So everyone we have come to the end of our
  138. video. Um, this is really one of my favorite lessons.
  139. And, um, I encourage you to go to your you
  140. see page and and take a look at more tutorials
  141. and information.
  142. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
  143. Have a lovely day.
  144. Take care.
  145. God bless.
  146. See you later
