  1. Good morning, Ellie.
  2. Lovelies. It's time to look at some experiments today.
  3. Did you ever wonder what an experiment is?
  4. Did you ever wonder how things make it to the
  5. supermarket shelves?
  6. Well, there is a process, and it is called an
  7. experiment. All right, So what we're gonna do is we're
  8. going to explore what an experiment is through looking at
  9. different videos that show us what experiments include Sing.
  10. We all love science because it helps us to explain
  11. how things work the way they do.
  12. So let's take a look at some experiments.
  13. We'll start off with looking at some weird school practices
  14. around the world.
  15. And that was based on our previous lesson from last
  16. week. And then we'll begin.
  17. Experiments start out as questions or observations about something in
  18. nature. And then you predict once you make the prediction,
  19. then you test it through designing an experiment.
  20. So you will all get to design an experiment towards
  21. the end of the course.
  22. So don't worry.
  23. You're not going to miss out on anything.
  24. Good. So what we're going to do is we're going
  25. to explore a famous experiment involving little Baby Albert.
  26. Okay? Not to say that the experiment was right or
  27. was ethical, But it was, in fact, an experiment that
  28. happened many years ago, and I want you to watch
  29. it and answer some questions about it.
  30. And then when you get finished working on your mastery
  31. assignment in any other assignments for the class today, you're
  32. going to be able to try some of your own
  33. at home.
  34. So what are you going to dio?
  35. You're going to click on Miss Sachs bit emoji.
  36. You see the bit emoji here in the virtual classroom,
  37. and there will be a list of experiments that you
  38. can try at home.
  39. Once you try those experiments and you don't have to
  40. do all of them, you can try one or two
  41. and make sure you are safe.
  42. Okay, um, you can write in the stream in the
  43. Google classroom stream, what experiment you did and what you
  44. observed. What you saw and what were the results of
  45. your experiment.
  46. Remember to click all of the icons in the virtual
  47. classroom to make sure the assignments are complete.
  48. So all of the little icons you'll see the lesson.
  49. Today's lesson.
  50. You can click on me for today's video, you click
  51. on Zach for experiments that you can try at home
  52. on dhe.
  53. Then you're gonna click on that locker on the board,
  54. on the whiteboard.
  55. Okay, That locker, Um, that says student resource is And
  56. when you click on that locker, you're going to be
  57. able to explore a little more.
  58. And finally make sure you attend the zooms today we're
  59. gonna have zooms from, I think, 9.
  60. 30 to 11.
  61. 30 and then again from 2 to 3 p.m. And
  62. make sure you also complete your attendance.
  63. Now, if you haven't completed your attendance, you're going to
  64. go into the student resource section, and you're going to
  65. see a little clock on top of books.
  66. You're gonna click that icon, and that will be a
  67. way for you to submit your attendance.
  68. Okay, so if you have any questions, definitely visit Muzak
  69. and I on the zoom sessions, which are included in
  70. the link in the virtual classroom on the white board,
  71. um, and will be available for you.
  72. And so have fun.
  73. Enjoy watching the experiments because we're going to do more
  74. in the next couple of weeks.
  75. All right, have a great day.
