  1. Hello. My name is Lou Wanna Cordero, and I'm here
  2. to present to you al brands.
  3. Originally, my presentation was gonna be on bath and Body
  4. works solely on their aromatherapy line.
  5. Um, e was going to propose a different pricing strategy
  6. for them because I feel like their products packaging could
  7. do a little bit better.
  8. They have a really good products.
  9. It's very high priced.
  10. Therefore, I thought if we could change the package, we
  11. could, you know it would make up for that price.
  12. However, during my research, I found that Bath and Body
  13. Works is actually doing pretty well.
  14. And there, sister company Victoria is the one who's suffering.

  71. Of course, there's been a massive increase in soap and
  72. sanitizer. Sales beat due to the pandemic, Miss Victoria, Victoria's
  73. Secret and All American brand that sells lingerie, clothing and
  74. beauty products.
  75. Products that scream, I Am sexy.
  76. I Am beautiful.
  77. Their annual fashion show showcases their lingerie using supermodels and
  78. angel wings.
  79. The company was founded by Roy and Gay Raymond in
  80. 1977 and sold to Leslie Wexner.

  82. lingerie in the United States.
  83. The brand sells intimate and other apparel.
  84. The brand has struggled thou since 2016 due to shifting
  85. consumer preferences, an ongoing controversy surrounding corporate leadership, business practices,
  86. child labor and swept top sweatshops.
  87. Also linked with Victoria's Secret.
  88. Bloomberg Market writes about a 13 year old girl who's
  89. been physically abused, denied food and forced to toil under
  90. the direction of a farmer to produce the cotton, which
  91. is sent to Sarah.
  92. Lanka and India.
  93. Factor Indian factories to be transformed into Victoria's secret products.
  94. By 2016 Victoria's Secret Market share began began to decline.
  95. The company has been accused of failing to adapt to
  96. the Times, and their market shares have dropped from 33%
  97. to 24.
  98. Shoppers have complained that the quality of the underwear has
  99. slipped. And, yes, it has.
  100. Shareholders filed a complaint with a Delaware court in January
  101. of 2021 stating that former chair Lex Wexner, among others,
  102. created an entrenched culture of misogyny, bullying and harassment with
  103. breaching his tradition, eri duty to the company and causing
  104. the brand to be devalued.
  105. Sale to Sycamore Partners fell.
  106. Throw Sycamore Partners try to back out of the deal
  107. because they said they did not agree with the steps
  108. the brand took in the response of the coronavirus pandemic.
  109. Next, I'm going to show you three products, which are
  110. all under the out brand.
  111. These air my own personal products to the left, you'll
  112. see a pair of underwear Warren, one time washed.
  113. One time it is falling apart already, the strings air
  114. falling apart.
  115. I wish I would say that this is my first
  116. pair of underwear, that this has happened thio, but it
  117. happens to all of them.
  118. Next you'll see a body spray from bath and body
  119. works to call Tiki Beach.
  120. You can see it's pretty full.
  121. I use it.
  122. You know, I use it from time to time, but
  123. it doesn't work anymore.
  124. The top is broken.
  125. The packaging on it is if you look closely, it's
  126. poorly made, but it cost me 16 50 until the
  127. right. It's a body scrub from pink.
  128. And, um, it's funny because I work in the treatment
  129. field and I just realized like, Oh, this is a
  130. your analysis cop that they have put this body scrub
  131. in. And, uh, so I looked up like the cost
  132. of this packaging.
  133. And you know, the ingredients that Aaron this product, this
  134. product costs 18 50 it probably costs Victoria's secret l
  135. brand paint, um, a dollar to make.
  136. So how do we determine a products worth?
  137. Well, if you say it's worth it, then there's a
  138. market for it.
  139. Just like there are Walmart shoppers.
  140. And there are target sharp shoppers.
  141. I know people that will not be caught debt in
  142. a WalMart, and also you can compare it to Macy's
  143. and JCPenney.
  144. It's a different vibe when you walk in the store.
  145. What I'm proposing is that we combine booth brands and
  146. create a different experience for customers and add value to
  147. their product, bath and body works.
  148. It's very cluttered in there.
  149. It's a lot going on.
  150. You know, I walk in, I'm a person that has
  151. anxiety, and I walk in and there's so many people
  152. in there.
  153. It's Corona season.
  154. There's products everywhere.
  155. I just want to get in and out, or I
  156. just don't even want to go in.
  157. Uh, they have this wonderful aromatherapy line that it's pretty
  158. much hidden.
  159. You know, I think that something like that should be
  160. in an open space, you know, with diffusers and candles
  161. on and just, you know, dim lighting.
  162. It's a whole different experience when you walk in and
  163. you know things air open.
  164. Also, if we started selling Victoria's Secret products in Bath
  165. and Body Works, Bath and Body Works does not have
  166. a bad reputation.
  167. Victoria does.
  168. So let's rebrand it, rename it.
  169. You know, Victoria's Secret has ties to this Jeffrey Epstein.
  170. It's just not a good look.
  171. When people think of Bath and Body works, they do
  172. not think of sex trafficking.
  173. Unfortunately, with Victoria, people think of sex trafficking and child
  174. labor. So, you know, just do some work in other
  175. countries. Donate to thes poor countries where there's thes sweatshops
  176. and show that you are helping them pay them properly,
  177. make a good product.
  178. That's what Victoria needs.
  179. A good product, good material that's going to last.
  180. Reviews are extremely important.
  181. I mean, like I said, I work in the treatment
  182. field and listen.
  183. We work for reviews as well.
  184. Our reviews have to be top notch or we're getting
  185. pulled in the office.
  186. You know, I read reviews on Victoria's Secret, and they're
  187. horrible. Everyone's complaining about the product, so it's not so
  188. much a pricing issue but a branding issue.
  189. We have to just start from scratch, combined the to
  190. make it a bigger store, change the vibe, and we
  191. can really get thes sales up.
  192. Thank you for listening
