00:01 - 00:02
Hello guys, my name is Olivia and today I'm gonna
00:03 - 00:07
be talking about the reflection, my reflection over the artifact,
00:08 - 00:10
the things I learned, the things that I found difficult.
00:11 - 00:14
Um The different experiences I had overall just do this
00:15 - 00:15
um process.
00:17 - 00:18
And first we're gonna begin.
00:18 - 00:19
Of course it's the questions.
00:20 - 00:23
So I'm going to first begin with questions of what
00:23 - 00:23
I learned.
00:24 - 00:27
Um First of all I learned that I never knew
00:27 - 00:29
really much about artifacts.
00:29 - 00:31
I I never heard about that.
00:32 - 00:35
Um I I've seen posters of course up seeing videos
00:36 - 00:39
or like live action things that are getting the messages
00:39 - 00:42
across without using a lot of research, but I never
00:43 - 00:45
really knew like artifacts were what they were.
00:45 - 00:45
I never knew.
00:46 - 00:46
That's what you call them.
00:48 - 00:51
Um I found that the writing process is very different
00:51 - 00:53
from the creation of like the artifacts.
00:55 - 00:57
I like I like artifacts more because I feel it's
00:58 - 01:02
easier and I feel like it's uh it's just an
01:02 - 01:04
easier way to get your message across without someone like
01:05 - 01:06
you know, skipping to your research paper.
01:08 - 01:11
Um not understanding what you're trying to get through because
01:11 - 01:15
I know sometimes it is difficult for myself too right
01:15 - 01:17
of the paper and get my point across.
01:19 - 01:23
Um I don't think it's the same at all as
01:23 - 01:25
uh writing a paper.
01:25 - 01:28
I think it's more of you just put your ideas
01:29 - 01:33
on whatever you're making for the artifact, then images and
01:33 - 01:34
colours and certain things.
01:34 - 01:38
And I feel like that's really what helps you or
01:38 - 01:44
what defines and artifacts and then and where, which text
01:44 - 01:46
or not text only, but videos and all that which
01:47 - 01:48
were like important to me.
01:49 - 01:53
I feel like first learning the first video with talking
01:53 - 01:56
about, well our Milton or what are artifacts.
01:56 - 01:58
I feel like those are the most important of course
01:59 - 02:02
because um when I came into it this I was
02:03 - 02:03
really confused.
02:03 - 02:04
I did not know what it was.
02:05 - 02:08
I even searched it up like what really what I
02:08 - 02:11
was really supposed to like how to make an artifact.
02:11 - 02:14
Then I feel like that video kind of just laid
02:14 - 02:18
the foundation for what to create and over.
02:18 - 02:22
I feel I feel like my period when I was
02:22 - 02:23
able to get my feedback.
02:25 - 02:25
Uh huh.
02:27 - 02:29
I think they really helped me because I know I
02:29 - 02:31
only got like maybe two two reviews.
02:32 - 02:35
Um but most of them were just talking about how
02:35 - 02:38
the paper where the artifact was already well written and
02:38 - 02:40
they explained what I was trying to get through.
02:41 - 02:43
They just wanted me to fix kind of um the
02:43 - 02:46
images and the colours and try to catch their Iowa
02:46 - 02:48
And I felt I felt it was important to fix
02:48 - 02:51
that because the whole point of the artifact of course
02:51 - 02:52
is to get someone to read it And if they
02:52 - 02:54
don't see it attractive, they're not going to read it.
02:55 - 03:01
Um, I feel that like the audience that I was
03:02 - 03:05
trying to get to was younger adults and like adults,
03:05 - 03:08
but the older generation can get to it too, but
03:09 - 03:12
more younger people because they're going to society and I
03:12 - 03:15
think they're going to experience mostly what I was talking
03:15 - 03:17
about, which is a multi lingual bias.
03:19 - 03:22
So I feel I did accomplish my goal of being
03:23 - 03:29
able to get that across and overall what am I
03:29 - 03:30
think a lot more time, you know, artifacts.
03:31 - 03:35
I feel that it's a very important way to get
03:35 - 03:36
information across the board.
03:37 - 03:40
I feel like we should uh take this morning's account
03:40 - 03:41
like that.
03:41 - 03:43
You should find this more helpful than, you know, just
03:44 - 03:46
research papers and all this because I did, I find
03:46 - 03:47
it very fun.
03:47 - 03:49
Then I thought I did a really good job doing
03:50 - 03:50
this artifact.
03:51 - 03:52
I feel the most challenging part.
03:54 - 03:56
It was maybe putting in information because I did put
03:56 - 03:58
in a lot of information from the research paper.
03:59 - 04:02
But I didn't want I don't want to feel like
04:02 - 04:03
it was a research paper completely.
04:03 - 04:05
I wanted it to feel like you were reading something
04:07 - 04:09
you really like passing by, you just saw any find
04:09 - 04:09
it interesting.
04:10 - 04:12
So I feel like that was the most challenging part
04:14 - 04:16
and I find it interesting that you can basically create
04:17 - 04:17
whatever you want.
04:17 - 04:20
It's not a, I don't like a guideline to do
04:20 - 04:26
stuff. Um, So that's okay, mary comes overall.
04:26 - 04:29
So that's basically what happened overall what I felt was
04:29 - 04:34
important. Um and yeah, that's just basically my reflection on
04:35 - 04:35
the artifact.
04:36 - 04:37
Thank you.
04:37 - 04:37
And I hope you enjoy
