  1. Hello. So for my final um I chose to make my present slides on the book bunny cakes.
  2. And with that I'll get started.
  3. So the beginning of this story is talking about how ruby
  4. and max want to make a birthday cake for grandma bunny.
  5. So I chose this image because um with the image of the bunny in the cake
  6. I thought that it would help a younger child put the two together
  7. that it's a cake for the bunny.
  8. The next slide I thought that this was a good way to demonstrate
  9. how to make a cake with this image of building up a cake.
  10. The next part of this story max tells ruby he wants to help make a cake.
  11. Um This image I thought was a good way to
  12. demonstrate um how we ask for help helping another person
  13. ruby tells max don't touch anything no touch
  14. but it is too late
  15. max knocks over or he dropped some eggs
  16. so ruby has to send them to
  17. the store with a grocery list.
  18. And on the grocery list are the word
  19. in the picture of X.
  20. Max takes the list to the store
  21. and the grocer gives him the eggs
  22. max goes back to the house
  23. ruby says don't bump the kitchen table
  24. but it's too late
  25. max
  26. bumped the kitchen table
  27. and the milk spilled everywhere.
  28. So ruby takes another grocery list
  29. and writes on the grocery list.
  30. The word milk.
  31. So max takes the milk to the grocery store
  32. the grocery hands in the milk
  33. max goes back home to help ruby with the cake
  34. ruby has drawn a line in the kitchen and she saw Zmax
  35. don't cross this line.
  36. But it's too late

  38. and he spilled the flour
  39. and spilled the flour everywhere.

  41. ruby gets out another grocery list
  42. and on the grocery list she writes flower.
  43. So max goes to the grocery store with the word flower on it.
  44. The grocery gives him the flower, he comes back home,

  46. stay out of my kitchen,
  47. stay out of the kitchen max. You can't come in,
  48. ruby goes back to making a cake. She is making that cake
  49. but she's still missing some something. She has all the ingredients
  50. but she needs
  51. candles for her cake.
  52. So she writes another grocery list.
  53. Here you go max,
  54. you need to go to the grocery store and get me some candles.
  55. Max is frustrated.
  56. He has wanted a super special ingredient the whole time
  57. and he cannot find it at the grocery store
  58. max has wanted red hot marshmallows quarters and he is
  59. I tried putting it,
  60. he has tried writing it on the list every time, ruby
  61. sends him to the grocery store with the list and the
  62. the person at the grocery store does not understand what max is writing.
  63. So he tries to draw a picture
  64. and the grocer understands. Now you want those marshmallows quarters
  65. along with
  66. the candles on the list.
  67. So max gets the candles
  68. and he goes back to the house,
  69. He gives ruby the candles for her cake.
  70. But max goes into the yard
  71. and he digs
  72. and what does he dig for
  73. caterpillars?
  74. He wants to put caterpillars on the cake he makes for his grandma.
  75. So
  76. ruby is done with her cake. Max is done with his cake
  77. grandma is happy, happy birthday grandma.
  78. It's a birthday cakes for grandma bunny. She likes both cakes.
  79. She doesn't know which one to eat next.
