  1. Good morning Spartans easier. Morning announcements from monday december 5th.
  2. Yeah, that thumbs up says there's something pretty amazing happening here,
  3. which is that the whole Valley Spartan football team is state champions.
  4. This is the first state championship in school history is an epic accomplishment.
  5. We could not be more proud. Congratulations to everybody from coach Maccanico, MS.

  7. Athletic director, teachers who helped support the students, parents and family,
  8. Everybody else.
  9. It is a once in a lifetime moment and last lifetime way to go.
  10. Uh, this was the third straight week that the boys had to go out on the road.
  11. They did it at ST mary's then at napa.
  12. And then this week in Mendota, it was a whole team effort.
  13. Just a tremendous game really. Uh, an excellent effort all the way through.
  14. And the boys in blue made it happen.
  15. We were tied at the end of the first quarter,
  16. took a small lead at halftime and then never gave the lead up the rest of the way.
  17. The band was awesome.
  18. They took the role of singing when music came over, the loudspeaker
  19. and cheerleaders when the defense chant was needed.
  20. And of course they did their awesome thing. Congratulations!
  21. This victory belongs to everybody.
  22. The fans who came out.
  23. The folks who made the 2.5 hour drive those of you who followed us online.
  24. Congratulations to each and every one final score.

  28. We got a bunch of other things to go over and we
  29. will cover those announcements rather quickly back to our regular announcements,
  30. but a moment like this deserves to be relished.
  31. And congratulations Maccanico.
  32. Amongst other things going on is boys and girls basketball.
  33. Both had an excellent tournament, finishing in second place,
  34. a very good run for their league play.
  35. Congratulations to both winning silver wrestling,
  36. Diego Angelo first place finish and others who finished in the top five as well.
  37. Very proud big week for wrestling. Three tournaments in a row.
  38. Badminton has a meeting today after school. If you're interested
  39. in spring's finest indoor net sport in addition of volleyball, that's badminton,
  40. it's the only one that has rackets and that's going to be with coach Michael today.
  41. If you're interested, freshmen, if you haven't taken part in badminton,
  42. this is a great sport happens in the spring.
  43. First meeting today in the gym. Junior class meeting today.
  44. Fourth period in the big theater. I'm gonna go over a two G.
  45. And counseling requirements of junior's.
  46. Thank you for uh, heading over their teachers. Thanks for sharing your juniors.
  47. If you have mostly juniors, bring them over as well.
  48. That's gonna be fourth period today.
  49. City council is going to honor both our girls tennis team and our
  50. girls volleyball team tomorrow night with a proclamation of their awesome work.

  52. The winter clothing drive continues to next week.
  53. We've got a been here in the front office, a couple of them
  54. donating gently used or no longer loved items so
  55. that somebody else can use and love them.
  56. The hour of code today.
  57. Computer classes, juniors and seniors and his Computer science week.
  58. Thank you, Miss johnson for the recognition of that.
  59. And remember coding is the future. Take advantage of it.
