00:01 - 00:04
Hi guys, Hey, let's talk about having a baby.
00:05 - 00:09
Well, if you saw having a baby on this title
00:09 - 00:11
as me and find that I was gonna have a
00:11 - 00:14
baby, at least not right now, I don't know about
00:14 - 00:16
that. So, sorry, get your hopes up.
00:16 - 00:19
If you were anticipating and hoping that David was going
00:19 - 00:21
to have a baby with Denise and I are going
00:22 - 00:24
to have a another boy or girl.
00:24 - 00:25
So who knows, twins.
00:26 - 00:28
And God plays very interesting circumstances.
00:29 - 00:32
But um, no, we're not having a baby.
00:32 - 00:33
But I want to talk about this topic.
00:34 - 00:36
It was a very big topic because it happens a
00:36 - 00:39
lot in our lives that We have a new additions
00:39 - 00:40
to our families.
00:40 - 00:42
And so we really want to talk about this idea
00:42 - 00:45
of what to consider, you know what happened.
00:45 - 00:48
So, um, let me tell you about my story.
00:48 - 00:53
So, in 2017, early 2017, Denise and I, um, we're
00:53 - 00:56
blessed to know that we were about to have a
00:56 - 00:58
baby. We didn't know at the time, you know Uh
00:58 - 01:00
what what gender the baby was.
01:01 - 01:02
But we were really excited.
01:03 - 01:06
And of course in 2017 Alliance came.
01:06 - 01:08
So those of you who know our son by all
01:08 - 01:11
means, you know he is not only just cute uh
01:12 - 01:13
is acute ample, let's just be honest.
01:14 - 01:16
Um but it's been three years goodness almost four years
01:17 - 01:20
now um since he came to this world.
01:20 - 01:25
But I will tell you that there is nothing more
01:26 - 01:28
enjoyable than being a parent.
01:28 - 01:33
I would say I cannot emphasize enough that it's just
01:33 - 01:37
such a beautiful gift that I encourage you know whoever
01:38 - 01:40
is having Children in the future.
01:40 - 01:44
This is a really enjoyable experience for the most part
01:44 - 01:47
and I mean super sides of course and things of
01:47 - 01:47
that nature.
01:48 - 01:50
But you know the question you have to ask is
01:50 - 01:54
this is that what do you do and how do
01:54 - 01:55
you plan to have a child?
01:55 - 01:58
So here's my thought.
01:58 - 02:01
I want to give you this information with this thought
02:02 - 02:03
is that you've got to think about whether to go
02:03 - 02:06
here or there and in particular, you really need to
02:06 - 02:10
consider the idea of our mega to rent or am
02:11 - 02:11
I going to consider buying a home?
02:12 - 02:16
And my encouragement of course is, hey, think about buying
02:17 - 02:17
a home.
02:18 - 02:20
Of course I know I'm in the industry of selling
02:20 - 02:24
home or helping finance homes, but with everything mentioned, there's
02:24 - 02:26
a really good reason why.
02:26 - 02:30
And let me show you so as you can think
02:30 - 02:33
of your home can be really your penny big piggy
02:33 - 02:36
bank. Um, and that is something I really want to
02:36 - 02:39
encourage you to consider is that with every investment you
02:39 - 02:42
have the opportunity to really gain some leverage here for
02:42 - 02:44
your future before your family's future.
02:45 - 02:47
And so with that mentioned, let me show you why
02:47 - 02:50
I think it's an important investment to consider buying a
02:50 - 02:52
home if you can and here are the numbers.
02:53 - 02:55
So as you know, I think numbers really help everyone
02:56 - 02:58
understand into uh, the insights of things.
02:58 - 03:00
So let's go and talk about this now.
03:01 - 03:04
As you can imagine, you're probably starting family, thinking about
03:04 - 03:07
having a child or you just recently got married or
03:07 - 03:08
whatever may be the case.
03:08 - 03:11
And of course I'm giving you numbers that are Um,
03:12 - 03:15
not relative completely with California because I know where a
03:15 - 03:18
lot of individuals here in California, but imagine the average
03:19 - 03:21
cost of a home is $380,000, whether you live in
03:21 - 03:23
a different state or whatever may be the case.
03:23 - 03:28
This is actually technically a reasonable amount, $380,000 across the
03:28 - 03:29
board. You know, nationwide.
03:30 - 03:36
So imagine you are paying $2400 on average for rent.
03:36 - 03:40
As you can see, $2400 is normally uh you know,
03:40 - 03:43
could be a rental for a home or even sometimes
03:43 - 03:46
apartments I hate doesn't break it to some of you
03:46 - 03:51
who like to live in the nicer beach areas at
03:52 - 03:52
times or whatever.
03:53 - 03:56
The more affluent areas That can be seen rent go
03:56 - 03:58
up to 3000 just for apartments.
03:59 - 04:01
And if you're thinking New York and you're living like
04:01 - 04:03
high end, you know, Hawaii in New York or California,
04:04 - 04:07
3000 is not unreasonable for rent.
04:07 - 04:11
But let's go back to the topic that is a
04:11 - 04:12
$308,000 home.
04:13 - 04:15
In fact, when I bought my home it was $380,000.
04:16 - 04:18
Mind you, that was about 2017, right.
04:19 - 04:21
When I got this and this is the reason why
04:21 - 04:23
I decided to purchase a home is because I knew
04:24 - 04:28
that in length time or long term the investment that
04:28 - 04:30
I would actually have something of a nesting in essence.
04:31 - 04:34
Well, the thing about buying your home is that your
04:35 - 04:37
payment is really stable throughout the time.
04:38 - 04:39
Longevity of it all.
04:39 - 04:42
If you can imagine right now, the estimate cost of
04:42 - 04:44
just putting 3.5% down.
04:45 - 04:48
Um you know, taxes, insurance and even saving a little
04:48 - 04:50
bit for maintenance and repairs every month.
04:50 - 04:52
It's roughly about 23 65.
04:53 - 04:57
Now, if you're paying 2400, you can imagine 23 65
04:57 - 05:00
is not a lot of savings, but it truly is
05:00 - 05:04
because every single year it is possible for your landlord
05:05 - 05:07
to increase the rent and on average is about 2.3%
05:08 - 05:11
increase. So after a course of five years, Your rental
05:12 - 05:15
is going to be about 26 29 a month.
05:15 - 05:16
But guess what?
05:17 - 05:20
A mortgage is pretty stable And that means that you're
05:20 - 05:22
going to have a 23 30 65.
05:23 - 05:24
But guess what happens?
05:24 - 05:27
Also traditionally in five years from now your pay increases,
05:28 - 05:32
you have more money overall and in fact you build
05:32 - 05:35
equity. I will tell you.
05:36 - 05:39
The beautiful thing about this scenario assists is that when
05:39 - 05:43
I bought my home in 2017, that's only roughly four
05:43 - 05:45
years from the animal, roughly four years.
05:46 - 05:52
Um The home next door sold for 515,000 and we
05:52 - 05:55
have very similar homes my home in that home next
05:56 - 05:58
door. So I will tell you for buying some that
05:59 - 06:03
380,000 and gaining a home that has the equity of
06:03 - 06:04
515 roughly.
06:05 - 06:07
Maybe let's just say 500 for kicks and giggles.
06:08 - 06:12
I've gained over $100,000 in equity in the matter of
06:12 - 06:13
four, less than four years.
06:13 - 06:18
That's $25,000 on average in my pocket.
06:19 - 06:22
Now, if you are thinking about investing in your family
06:23 - 06:26
in your future, what other investment will provide you that
06:26 - 06:30
opportunity to gain $25,000 extra dollars on average?
06:31 - 06:34
And again these very but giving you that opportunity to
06:34 - 06:38
gain that much leverage and you paying yourself instead of
06:38 - 06:39
getting paying somebody else to be rich.
06:41 - 06:44
This is why I encourage you to consider contacting me
06:44 - 06:47
because I can help you change your future.
06:48 - 06:48
Thank you again.
06:49 - 06:51
Feel free to give me a call because I just
06:51 - 06:52
don't finance homes.
06:52 - 06:55
I do change lives, enjoy the rest of your day.
