00:01 - 00:01
Hi, everyone.
00:01 - 00:04
This is Jill Thompson from achieving flow and I would
00:04 - 00:06
like to introduce you to our new website.
00:07 - 00:11
We are really excited to be launching this this spring.
00:12 - 00:16
And this video is to help you decide whether this
00:16 - 00:18
membership is really for you.
00:21 - 00:23
So first, I'd like to start with the problem.
00:25 - 00:30
Modern society has caused us to be desensitized to the
00:30 - 00:35
natural flow that exists in our world technology, the pace
00:35 - 00:37
of life, the constant demands on our attention.
00:38 - 00:43
They're all leaving us feeling unsatisfied, stressed, and we're looking
00:44 - 00:44
for deeper meaning.
00:46 - 00:51
So in searching for deep, deeper meaning we are looking
00:51 - 00:53
for resource is and things to help.
00:54 - 00:57
Part of the problem to this is that we have
00:58 - 01:01
also just gone through a whole year of covert 19.
01:02 - 01:07
And that's been leaving us, questioning our priorities, trying to
01:07 - 01:10
figure out well, what's the meaning of my life And
01:11 - 01:12
should I be doing something different?
01:13 - 01:17
It's also caused us to question our health and whether
01:18 - 01:21
we're doing the things that we could be doing in
01:21 - 01:24
our life to be healthier and stronger and more fit
01:25 - 01:28
eso For this reason we're looking for some resource is
01:28 - 01:32
and things that will help us to blaze our own
01:32 - 01:33
trail, right?
01:33 - 01:36
Our own story live life on our terms.
01:37 - 01:42
Eso What we've done is we have created this website
01:42 - 01:46
as a resource and a tool, so I'd like to
01:46 - 01:48
also share the solutions.
01:50 - 01:55
So achieving flow helps people to pursue healthy and positive
01:56 - 01:59
changes that lead to a life with higher levels of
01:59 - 02:04
energy satisfaction and deeper meaning and purpose in life.
02:05 - 02:09
It's a low cost monthly membership, and people can decide
02:10 - 02:15
whether they are interesting continuing the membership, which hopefully you
02:15 - 02:20
will. Or if you're not satisfied, then you can end
02:20 - 02:21
the membership after a month.
02:22 - 02:24
So we really feel like there's a benefit in being
02:24 - 02:27
able to try it out, see if it works and
02:27 - 02:27
work through it.
02:28 - 02:32
But what we have also done is we've incorporated interactive
02:32 - 02:39
activities and exercises that are inspirational, colorful, challenging and fun
02:40 - 02:43
to help you work towards your goals so that you
02:44 - 02:45
can make a difference in your life.
02:46 - 02:49
A lot of times people need, um, you know, some
02:49 - 02:52
accountability in life, or they need a mentor, a support,
02:53 - 02:56
a coach, someone to help guide them along the fairway.
02:56 - 02:59
So that's why we've created this website.
03:00 - 03:03
It's a step by step process to really help you
03:03 - 03:04
achieve those goals.
03:07 - 03:09
So let's take a look a little bit further.
03:10 - 03:12
Is this for you?
03:12 - 03:14
That's an important question to ask.
03:14 - 03:17
Well, I'd like to talk about our customers.
03:18 - 03:22
So our customers, airmen and women, um, they the young
03:23 - 03:24
adults all the way up to senior citizens.
03:25 - 03:30
But those who seem to find the most benefit in
03:30 - 03:34
this program are people who are spanning maybe 2 to
03:34 - 03:37
20 years outside of high school or college.
03:38 - 03:43
Uh, they generally fall in that Generation X or millennial
03:44 - 03:50
generation. And the reason for that is because a lot
03:50 - 03:56
of times Generation Xers really work so hard and commit
03:56 - 04:01
to their careers that it's studies have shown, almost like
04:01 - 04:04
a heads down approach to working where they're starting to
04:05 - 04:05
realize now.
04:06 - 04:08
Hey, I'm not feeling satisfied.
04:09 - 04:09
I want something mawr.
04:10 - 04:13
In fact, there was a recent quote that was in
04:14 - 04:18
a Market Watch article that says that Gen Xers are
04:18 - 04:22
actually feeling dazed and confused about their careers.
04:23 - 04:26
Uh, something else it's important to note to is that
04:26 - 04:29
there are a lot of studies out there about millennials
04:30 - 04:33
and how millennials value, work, life balance.
04:34 - 04:37
And when you're working in a job where there's limited
04:37 - 04:43
resource is limited, people, sometimes that work life balance can
04:43 - 04:44
get thrown off.
04:44 - 04:47
So there are a lot of people within those age
04:48 - 04:51
groups still in their career, that air searching for answers,
04:51 - 04:54
that air really searching for new meaning and purpose.
04:55 - 04:59
We do have, uh, people who are interested, who may
05:00 - 05:04
be retired or empty nesters who are also searching for
05:04 - 05:08
a new career or meaning and purpose now that their
05:08 - 05:10
life has changed and it's heading in a new direction.
05:11 - 05:14
So that's really broad in terms of, you know, the
05:14 - 05:16
demographic and who may be interested.
05:16 - 05:22
However, early adopters of online resource is, and people that
05:22 - 05:25
are currently working to make a change in their life
05:25 - 05:30
are definitely the people who find value in this type
05:30 - 05:30
of a membership.
05:31 - 05:34
You may have tried many things, and it's not sticking.
05:35 - 05:41
You may actually use YouTube videos and exercise videos and
05:41 - 05:45
other inspirational videos to help you achieve your goals on
05:46 - 05:48
dhe. You make a commitment to others in a commitment
05:49 - 05:50
to yourself for a better future.
05:51 - 05:56
If this is you, then chances are this membership will
05:56 - 05:58
be something that you will be interested in trying out
06:01 - 06:04
As someone who's worked in the training industry for several
06:05 - 06:09
years. I often hear people saying to me, um, you
06:10 - 06:13
know, I'm looking for another career or, you know, there
06:13 - 06:16
have been people who have met who have, all of
06:16 - 06:17
a sudden changed their career.
06:18 - 06:20
They have gotten an education and been on a trajectory
06:21 - 06:23
and decided, You know, this isn't for May.
06:24 - 06:27
I've met a lawyer who became a yoga instructor.
06:27 - 06:31
I've met a PhD who, after 10 years into his
06:32 - 06:33
career, decided You know what?
06:34 - 06:36
I don't know if this is my path and he
06:36 - 06:37
became a real estate agent.
06:38 - 06:42
I've met another lawyer who decided, You know what?
06:42 - 06:45
Litigation isn't for May, and he became a professor.
06:46 - 06:50
Uh, my husband, after several years in a chemistry chemistry
06:50 - 06:51
degree, decided.
06:51 - 06:52
You know what?
06:52 - 06:53
This isn't for me.
06:54 - 06:58
And he became a Web developer, a videographer and also
06:59 - 07:03
a fitness trailer trainer, because that's his passion and myself.
07:03 - 07:08
After struggling with a health serious health diagnosis, I had
07:09 - 07:12
to take a really hard, long look at where's my
07:13 - 07:17
life going and am I really incorporating my passion one
07:17 - 07:21
of the Japanese terms for discovering your purpose is called
07:21 - 07:22
Iquique I.
07:22 - 07:26
And so in this program, we help people discover their
07:27 - 07:29
Iquique. I Yes.
07:30 - 07:34
So let's take a look at the next steps, so
07:34 - 07:36
I'll leave you with another quote.
07:37 - 07:40
Someone recently said to me, Hey, I'm just a dude
07:41 - 07:44
with no direction in life, no job.
07:45 - 07:48
I'm a former restaurant ear and chef in the waning
07:49 - 07:53
years of hospitality that connects with what we've gone through
07:53 - 07:57
with co vid recently doesn't have a job hospitality suffering.
07:58 - 08:01
And he said, I'm looking for a new path that
08:01 - 08:02
revolves around my passions.
08:04 - 08:10
That's really a picture of someone who could benefit from
08:10 - 08:10
this program.
08:12 - 08:14
So we're launching this in the spring.
08:15 - 08:18
As I pointed out, we have an introductory pilot program
08:19 - 08:21
that will be taking place this February, which is a
08:22 - 08:24
teaser in all the different paths, and I shouldn't say
08:24 - 08:25
a teaser.
08:25 - 08:28
It's really jumping in and having an introduction toe all
08:28 - 08:29
of the pads.
08:30 - 08:33
But also, if people want to join our newsletter, then
08:33 - 08:37
we have a free, downloadable PdF that will help you
08:37 - 08:40
assess. Is this program possibly for May?
08:41 - 08:45
So I will leave you with a final quote, and
08:45 - 08:49
that will help you to determine whether maybe this is
08:49 - 08:51
something you'd like to look into a little bit further
08:53 - 08:57
achieving flow happens when we discover what lights us up.
08:58 - 09:01
It's really what makes us feel alive.
09:02 - 09:06
We're drawn to something that we can spend our time
09:06 - 09:10
on that we really love, that we're passionate about.
09:11 - 09:14
We're drawn to spending our time doing one or several
09:15 - 09:19
things that reinforce our true reason for being.
09:19 - 09:21
So I'll leave you with that.
09:21 - 09:23
And I just want to thank you for your time.
09:24 - 09:27
And if you're interested in learning more than feel free
09:27 - 09:28
to go toe achieving flow dot com.
