  1. Hi everyone,
  2. I'm gonna be telling you a little bit about me,
  3. so let's begin.
  4. I received my bachelor's degree in communication studies with minors and business
  5. administration and women and gender studies
  6. from Pace University in downtown Manhattan
  7. for my masters.
  8. Currently I am setting
  9. my Master's in elementary education and T sol,
  10. I hope to have my
  11. Initial certification by the end of 2022.
  12. I am in the dual certification program which is great.
  13. Um I really love having
  14. um
  15. the dual certification program because I was able to do my bachelors and anything,
  16. which I think is pretty cool.
  17. So for teaching experience, my language experiences spanish and italian,
  18. I do know
  19. a little bit of french and sl as well but
  20. I wouldn't say that I've taken classes and those,
  21. it's been on the side of my own.
  22. Um I really like romance languages
  23. and for teaching experience. Um
  24. So my first one is I'm a part time dance teacher,
  25. I've been teaching nance for various ages um for about four years now
  26. my
  27. the second teaching experience was um I used to
  28. be a writing tuner in the writing center in undergrad
  29. um And part of the
  30. part of my job at the rating center
  31. um I was assigned to
  32. um undergraduate freshman class
  33. and um it wasn't the introductory class,
  34. it was like the class below for students who needed a little extra help.
  35. Um So a person from the rating center was assigned as a co teacher
  36. to assist the teacher for any rating needs for
  37. students writing assignments that they worked on in class.
  38. Um and then I myself got to teach three of
  39. those classes throughout the semester on grammar and writing resources,
  40. which I thought was pretty cool and a great way for me to get teaching experience
  41. and then my third um
  42. is obviously student observation.
  43. Um I did my 40 hours in the fall of 2021. Um
  44. I
  45. observed a third grade class at Shorting Elementary,
  46. plain edge school district
  47. um as well as my T sol
  48. um observation was also shorting and um I got to do a lot of like
  49. push in, pull out um
  50. exposure which I thought was really, really cool
  51. So and I worked with kids from Kindergarten to 5th grade
  52. by doing that.
  53. Um I also participated in teachers prep in high school
  54. um where I twice a week was actively a sustained kindergarten
  55. teacher within the school district and I really enjoyed that class,
  56. I did that all year, my senior year.
  57. So things that I love to do, my first would be reading um I just love to read.
  58. I think some of my favorite authors would probably be like Julia Quinn.
  59. Um
  60. I like Nicholas Sparks books, Nora roberts,
  61. J. K. Rowling, oh my goodness, I love harry potter
  62. and then jodi Picoult, she's probably my favorite.
  63. I shouldn't have a favorite but she is up there,
  64. I love to sing,
  65. you're always saying in the car in the shower
  66. if the song comes along, I am singing to it.
  67. Um I used to sing in school.
  68. Um,
  69. I love doing it growing up and it just always made me happy and put a smile on my face.
  70. Dancing is my passion.
  71. I love to dance is probably my favorite activity in the world.
  72. Um dancing is my way to relieve stress and anxiety.
  73. Um it will always be my first love.
  74. I can't imagine really doing anything else
  75. designing. I love to design stuff. I um I am a marketing specialist full time.
  76. That's what I got.
  77. Um like my main job and I get to design anything and everything and I think it's so fun.
  78. I hope when I become a teacher I could still
  79. utilize my digital design background for my marketing career.
  80. Um it's just so fun to be able to create your materials and um
  81. show kids that they can be creative in so many different ways and
  82. I hope that I can show them that for my digital design experience.
  83. And lastly I just like to hang out.
  84. I don't know if that's truly an activity,
  85. which is something I love to do a huge home body.
  86. So being around my family,
  87. um struggling with my dog harbor,
  88. that's,
  89. it's, it's a good one. I just love that if you count that as an activity, I do.
  90. So some fun facts about me. I have a puppy named harbor, He is 1.5.
  91. He's an american Staffordshire terrier.
  92. He's my best friend, I adopted him during quarantine.
  93. Um,
  94. I'm italian, irish and Puerto Rican.
  95. It's quite a mix. Um and then I love harry potter, which we already talked about.
  96. Um I love harry potter is pretty huge. I also love Disney,
  97. but you know, I could only fit so much in the giant scribble mark
  98. and lastly, here is just my contact information.
