  1. Hi, Julia.
  2. Hi, Simon.
  3. I hope you're both doing well.
  4. As you can see, it's very sunny today, so I'm
  5. also extremely Hi, Julia.
  6. Hi, Simon.
  7. This is any so welcome to my video.
  8. As you can see, it's very sunny.
  9. And I am extremely happy because I'm gonna share with
  10. you today.
  11. Everything I've learned through the delivering for value cores.
  12. And I would like to thank you from the beginning
  13. for everything that you've shared with us.
  14. I think that everything you've told us has been really
  15. valuable. And I would like to thank the Learning Group
  16. as well.
  17. Okay, so today I'm gonna take through my initial objectives.
  18. Ah, aswell are some of the conversations that some off
  19. the situations I had to deal wave on, give me
  20. the opportunity to apply everything I've learned and some of
  21. the challenges and opportunities that I first see or the
  22. picture. Okay, so let's start with my objectives.
  23. That takes me back to my best week in the
  24. project are when I match with Becky, who is also
  25. in the same course and actually introduced myself.
  26. I talked about my experience.
  27. They also mentioned that I never worked in consulting before.
  28. And this is something that, um, I would like to
  29. work on.
  30. So this is when she recommended me to join this
  31. course. I immediately phoned ID signed up, and I'm so
  32. happy and thankful I did that for myself.
  33. It's a little So my initial goal was to learn
  34. the basics of consulting and really start from the beginning
  35. to understand how PWC works, what consulting means and what
  36. against funny women.
  37. So everything very do we're doing every day is the
  38. deliver bolus.
  39. So how in your organization I'm joining really defined by
  40. how can I contribute in a way, the trailer lines
  41. with the objectives on the violence.
  42. Really the organization.
  43. So this is my goal.
  44. It didn't change.
  45. Ah, actually, when I'm reflecting on whether I achieved it
  46. or not, I feel I definitely achieved it.
  47. So I'm very happy.
  48. Ah, how I understand it or why I say it's
  49. simply because I feel much more confident to have a
  50. conversation. Ah, and really, actually, ah reflect on value defining
  51. what value mains and in every opportunity I'm given, I
  52. try to share that with other people who didn't have
  53. the chance that time the course.
  54. So also from the feedback I get from conversations I'm
  55. having with people from my mentor on my career coach
  56. as well.
  57. So I'm very happy because I feel in a much
  58. better position to understand what consulting is first of all,
  59. what it means to work or a client on also
  60. deliver value address for the project, not just for the
  61. client, but also for the whole organization, team and myself.
  62. So, so very help for that.
  63. Get. So let's move with the second point and they
  64. say, is Salyut situations.
  65. I'm sure you're very familiar with its two graphs on
  66. that left hand side s so you can see the
  67. value great on the value equalizer.
  68. So these are the two tools that I piers in
  69. different situations that I'm gonna share with, you know?
  70. Ah, the 1st 1 the value grade is something accused
  71. actually into situation specifically very different ones.
  72. The oneness with ah, the project aim.
  73. When we were reflecting on, actually, before we go to
  74. the second phase of the project, we had a reflection
  75. session. What worked Well, what didn't so that we can
  76. move on much more aligned on improving some off the
  77. parts that were good, improper, potentially.
  78. So I proposed using the while a great I'm very
  79. half we did, because it helps us really focused on
  80. not just the project on the deliverables bought the more
  81. personal and human aspect, which is what moderates to each
  82. of us and understand which angle it person is using
  83. in order to judge situations which is usually what matters
  84. to trust personally.
  85. So that was very good.
  86. Another way I used the grade is when I had
  87. to work on my anti review.
  88. I've only been in the business for a few months
  89. now. Eso I use the tool in a way that
  90. I don't forget the reason I joined.
  91. I don't forget what I initially had in mind on
  92. trying to keep that really, really close to my myself
  93. in order to to move on and do my best
  94. eso in order to define my goals and also reflect
  95. on my experience At that time, I use that I
  96. noted what moderates to me Ah, what lessons I have
  97. learned so far.
  98. But I take with me moving forward and also with
  99. a more futuristic approach.
  100. Um, the father equalizer equalizers.
  101. All right, so I was not expand off.
  102. The cycle defies with my team when we hunt to
  103. really reflect on the whole project.
  104. So I thought it's a great idea.
  105. We had some amazing conversations with some off my team
  106. members. We actually spend time to finding value.
  107. I think it was It was myself and one more
  108. person who had attended the delivering provided trainings of the
  109. rest of the people were not feeling comfortable.
  110. So they asked me, What monuments?
  111. And this is where I felt like, Yes, I know
  112. what I'm talking about.
  113. I know why why were doing this exercise and what
  114. that means.
  115. So that was a great, great situation.
  116. Ah, yes.
  117. So let's move to the conversations I've had.
  118. So I want to start when we say conversations.
  119. Yes, I have some examples to use, but I would
  120. like to say what I always think when, er, when
  121. I reflect on the course, I think that what changed
  122. to me is not only understand the basis, but it's
  123. the mindset.
  124. I feel like I've changed perspective on I'm no, I
  125. know understand value and everything we've learned.
  126. It's like a new wine said, Like having in your
  127. way to just say things and approach things.
  128. So different examples that I I've had is like every
  129. time. These are a little everyday examples.
  130. It's not something big conversations I've had.
  131. So every time I have to prioritize my work, I'm
  132. really thinking, Ah, actually, using the value as the filter
  133. to prioritize my come and all the meetings I have
  134. to go the the energy I put into things.
  135. So I tried to understand what is the value?
  136. Is there anybody first hole?
  137. What is the value and or each of the four
  138. perspectives? Um, what does that bring Teoh?
  139. Each of those separately.
  140. I've had conversations where, for example, we were focusing so
  141. much on doing something very small lifted in water.
  142. Ah, but we're focusing so and we're actually giving so
  143. much time to that.
  144. So I remember having a conversation with the other person.
  145. Like, do we really need that?
  146. What does that bring for for the client or for
  147. us? Ah, I've also had to know that ever if
  148. like thing in a situation where when I didn't use
  149. use it and I didn't have the conversation when I
  150. should have, But these are all lessons we learn every
  151. day. Ah, the good thing is not I immediately went
  152. and I said okay with spend time about it was
  153. here's lies.
  154. It was not worth.
  155. Um but the reason I understood it was not worth
  156. it, because I always had value Equaliser in the value
  157. Great in my mind, like the template is there now,
  158. on every time I'm measuring, like for four months, um,
  159. the in parked on the time So the time I'm
  160. spending on things and the team, actually.
  161. So these are some conversations with male a team members
  162. that I'm having on try as well to bring that
  163. when I'm involved into patriots LP trees go back and
  164. see what does really matter What is the value we
  165. want to bring to this organization to this partner.
  166. So we don't just think with the sales mindset like
  167. we want to sell.
  168. Obviously we want to sell, But how we're gonna sell
  169. is very different.
  170. And having in mind that what we tried to do
  171. is bring value soul a problem, bring a solution, um,
  172. and understand.
  173. Improvise. I think this is where all this exercise really,
  174. really helps.
  175. So, yes, that's a great mindset.
  176. And thank you for that an hour.
  177. Let's move to some off the challenges.
  178. So living challenge phase ourself really creating the time create
  179. the time to and to reflect a lot.
  180. Break the time boom.
  181. The child ends when this is nated.
  182. As I said, I I've already had an experience where
  183. I didn't challenge when I should challenge.
  184. Um and I learned from that.
  185. Ah, but it's really, really caring.
  186. Bringing greater value is bringing ourselves ah, and to really,
  187. really empathize with what's happening.
  188. Understand what we're enduring.
  189. Understand the clients that that requires probably more effort, more
  190. time instead of just, uh, taking a template that fits
  191. everyone and everything.
  192. So I think we're really good at having that solution.
  193. I think things, but there is a lot off.
  194. I see a lot off actually potential tiu spending more
  195. time or not understanding things before we solution.
  196. Eyes it.
  197. So this is the main challenge I say, Huh?
  198. Great. The time not be afraid.
  199. Um not everyone has the same perception.
  200. Not everyone has attended the chorus.
  201. We have different experiences on.
  202. I think we need gold to to try and stand
  203. for what we believe.
  204. It brings value real value.
  205. Ah, butts.
  206. Let's focus now a bit more on the more positive
  207. side, which is the opportunities, I say, Ah, it's an
  208. everyday Joyce that applies Teoh every every day.
  209. So I will.
  210. I have promised myself not.
  211. I will always start by actually understanding, Um, winning teams
  212. is a great way.
  213. I think that it doesn't only apply to big projects.
  214. Another example I should mention before probably is thought.
  215. I'm I'm trying to.
  216. I probably don't use the official name off winning teams.
  217. But when I join even a beat a business development
  218. work, I realized everything happens so quickly, so fast on
  219. with so much on the deliverable and we forget, like
  220. who is delivering and what what skills does that pass
  221. and brings so that we can take the best part
  222. or off age individual on create value.
  223. So it's an everyday choice, everyday opportunity in everything we
  224. day on, but also trained like share it, share it
  225. with other people.
  226. I'm trying to really, really share my knowledge and everything
  227. you told me with People have not attended and I
  228. also try to do it.
  229. Bracketed with me.
  230. Recommended. Um, so, yes, this is the opportunity.
  231. Our first see a greater, greater teams.
  232. More motivation.
  233. Ah, more engagement with the clients on better results.
  234. This is like being the end goal that comes naturally.
  235. If we do the whole the rest.
  236. So they say.
  237. So what I wanted to share with you.
  238. I hope you enjoy it.
  239. If you have any questions, I'm more than happy to
  240. have a conversation with you.
  241. Um, enjoy some sunshine.
  242. And really, I really hope to see you soon and
  243. keep safe.
  244. Yeah, that's the most important.
  245. Keeps a and keep positive.
  246. Thank you very much.
  247. Have a lovely day.
