  3. we walk, we check our phones as I've grown up,
  4. I've realized through both personal and external experiences.
  5. While social media has its perks for young teen girls,
  6. it also has as many downfalls growing up as a teen girls hard in itself,
  7. but adding social media onto it.
  8. Well that's a whole other struggle.
  9. The problem my pipe is focused on is how various social
  10. media platforms have impacted girls ages 12 to 18 and their self
  11. images and confidence stats show that 95% of teens have access
  12. to a smartphone and 45% of those say their online almost constantly
  13. to help these teen girls find their self confidence
  14. and maintain a healthy lifestyle on social media.
  15. I am proposing a confidence is key tour.
  16. My all women run team will go around the country to share 2
  17. to 4 hour presentation and workshop the tour will consist of five parts,
  18. an introduction, a power point presentation,
  19. small group discussions of final debrief and a confidence kid.
  20. So what I need from you to move this project forward is help finding a team of
  21. 8-10 employees of all women that will help me run the tour with that being said,
  22. I would also need funding to travel around the country to preach my message.
