Hello. Today I'm gonna be doing it all about me slide presentation.

I am aware that there is going to be a project or an assignment on an all about me topic.

Um But I just wanted to take the time to have a one on one conversation with you

um as you are my teacher and also let you know

of anything that you need to be aware of with me.

Um

So first off my name is Emily I am 14 years old. My birthday is on May four.

Yes, Star Wars Day.

I'm not a fan of it but obviously it's my

birthday and I'm really grateful to have a birthday.

Um I have two siblings, I have a 14 year old brother, an eight year old sister.

My sister goes to Zemun elementary and my brother lives in wahoo Nebraska.

I am in a household of three. My mom my sister and I

my dad is currently in ego Nebraska.

My parents are separated.

I have

went to

Rousseau Elementary.

What elementary is in ah

Fort Leonard Wood Missouri is

on its um on a military base in Missouri which I'll explain that later.

And then I went to roper Elementary

Or by 5th grade year and then I went to Park

Park Middle School

6:38.

And now I'm at Lincoln Southwest.

Um

Excuse me

this year I have done some things as I am

um

Lincoln southwest.

I went to two different schools this year attending Lincoln Northeast. I was in a J.

R. O. T. C. Program.

Um I had to drop out this year due to transportation issues

but I plan on coming back next year my sophomore year.

Um

So yeah

that's a picture of

me. Um

I'm just gonna show you the slides I have for pictures and yeah

um So first off this picture this is my best friend josiah,

he goes to

a different school here in Lincoln. Um He's enrolled in A. J. R. O. T. C. As well.

Um

I was his date for this event which this would have been a military ball for us.

Um A. G. R. O. T. C. They have what we call military ball.

Um It's technically like prom but it's more of a fancier, it has more

um just more like

just being more mature kind of thing. Um It's very very nice and fancy.

Um First off I'd like to say the cord

on his shoulder is representing as a flight commander,

which a flight commander is technically like a teacher of the classroom,

so he leaves the classroom, he gives the commands.

Um

He's just an amazing leader in the classroom.

Um I was actually in his classroom and that's actually

how I became best friends with my best friend josiah.

Um

I actually have my awards with me.

Um So as you see right there um I have mine

um so I only have two because it's my freshman year and obviously I

love the program so I can't get any more this year until next year.

Um So first off I have

This one is the

the patriotic flag ribbon.

Um So

uh it's for me doing flags. So I am seventh period which is echo flight.

So what my class does is we go and take

down the flag at the flagpole at Lincoln Northeast.

And so I would be

carrying the american flag and then we take it back to

the classroom at the state flag and we will fold it up

and then I have the activities ribbon.

Um So it's for like P. T. Which is physical fitness every friday we have

um

these are going to have as of right now.

Um And then I have this one this is my most chinese one I have.

Um This one is for um representing A. J. R. O. T. C. For us.

Eighth grade presentation,

we had eighth graders come to Lincoln Northeast

and I give out a wonderful presentation.

2 8th graders and we've had

I'm not for sure the number but I know we had a lot of

eighth graders from multiple middle schools

sign up for a G. R. T. C.

Um It's just a fun program and I actually have some stuff from the ball.

I would like to show you too. Um So first off before I do um

that is half of our eight year ROTC program there is a

lot more but this was for a competition we had in Missouri

And um

they were five points away from from winning 3rd place.

Um My best friend josiah had his three groups

in the competition and they almost one third place.

Um

We have never next meet in a couple of weeks um

But I'm pretty sure we're gonna win it this time.

Um But again this is another military ball picture

I actually have a micro city I wore.

Um

That's

kind of of that

um And then we got um

This from the ball it says Bellevue West Air Force

ROTC military ball it's 2020 on it.

So we were in Bellevue Nebraska for for another school.

Um

We get invited to go to different schools in Nebraska for a military bill and so um

it was just pretty fancy.

I'll tell you that

um This is another picture of me and my best friend

ah

my best friends like my whole entire world.

I mean I have a lot of other friends but there's nothing prepared

to just say I just i it's just everything in my life.

Um

This is our whole, well it's not our whole

hr to see it's another picture of the competition um in Missouri

um So that's everybody.

Um

I'm trying to think of something else

um

Things like to do. There you go. Things like to do. Um I like to go four wheeling.

Um I like I am interested in hunting and fishing.

I am a fan of country music um I am a morgue. And Marlon fan um if you've heard of him

then you will know who he is.

Um

mhm

my afterlife plans.

Um so leading to the military

um

my mom was married

and she was married to a drill sergeant in the U. S. Army for about two years.

Uh we had to move to fort Leonard wood Missouri for

um he was deployed there

obviously as he was a sergeant so he was told to do so

um so we moved down there and I went to

elementary

for a year.

Um things kind of went toxic and were um very unhealthy with him in the picture.

Um so we decided to leave and um

move back to Lincoln and uh just try to get out of

the picture with him because things were not good at that time.

Um

most likely the reason why I want to join

the military

and why I did this is because I actually am really interested in

just serving my country and I am very honored to live

in the United States um with the other countries and continents

that are going through so much war were actually very lucky

to have the freedom and have all of our rights.

Um

I'm just really proud to represent um the United

States and I plan on joining the Nebraska National Guard

which would be an army Nebraska national garden

so I would be deployed here if I joined and I plan on being a

I mean Nebraska

Nebraska National Guard

corpse nurse which would be a

uh just a registered nurse so an RN nurse technically on a military base.

Ah

the military has just made a big impact on my life and

um

the military has really

well I'll say a J R T C has changed my life and

if it weren't for a G R T. C, I probably would have been making poor choices right now

and

I've just changed a lot over the years

with a J R O T C.

It just started from august and now to where I am, I have changed so much over time.

Um

I'm trying to think of something

I do will make you wear um with um with me personally

I do have very bad anxiety um

with over

when my mom was married,

just bad anxieties came into my life.

I have had panic attacks

and they are

not consistent, they happen

optimum overpressure and things are just not going well for me.

Ah

I mean just yeah, just anxiety is a big um

impact on my life.

Ah

the things I love is definitely rtc most of all coats.

Um

I am obsessed with goats. Um again, my best friend, josiah, he got me this goat.

It's just the cutest thing ever.

I am so in love with it um goes to just the cutest

thing in the world to me and they just kind of help.

There's kind of like my

spirit guide kind of thing.

Um

I don't know. I mean

I'll show you one more thing. I did not, I forgot to show you.

Um but we do get customized name tags in Adrian, accusing,

so that's my last name carry.

So I technically am kidding Carrie

and then this is my other one. So this one's for our fancy coats.

So what he's wearing,

he doesn't have his on because um we were told not to wear our name tags at the ball.

So that's ours for our coats. And then under our coats

mm hmm.

Um Under our coats we have our shirts

and so you would wear that if there's a

day where we don't wear our coats because we'll have

days where we do have to wear coats when

we don't because we wear our uniforms every Tuesday.

Um So I've kept these, I've kept that and I've kept this

and then the last thing that we have from um

ROTC is this so we get a cadet guide. It just has everything about ROTC.

And obviously with your ribbon rack which that's what we call it,

our your your awards and your ribbon, that's all of them,

you can get a whole time. There's more to it.

Um

But I mean

yeah,

just how to make a presentation and I thank you for listening to
