  1. Hello, everyone.
  2. Uh First off, I just want to
  3. um say thank you to everyone for another great semester.
  4. Um I've really enjoyed hearing and
  5. discussing all of our experiences with practicum
  6. and it's really been a joy to learn with you all.
  7. So today we'll be exploring the different chapters of my practicum story and
  8. how it has um
  9. shaped me into the professional I'm becoming.
  10. So let's begin our journey by returning to the arc where it all started.
  11. So returning to the arc represents definitely a
  12. welcoming environment as soon as I got back.
  13. Um everyone was really excited to see me and
  14. uh ready to kind of make new connections and strengthening current connections.
  15. And it's been a place where I have found
  16. new opportunities to learn and grow as a person.
  17. And being at the arc represents the beginning of my journey with human services.
  18. And it's been an essential foundation for my growth,
  19. both personally and professionally
  20. and there's a little picture of the art room and all
  21. the paintings that all of our talented individuals have done.
  22. So, continuing my journey
  23. um As I continued on my journey with practicum,
  24. I realized the importance of practicing
  25. self uh achievement and celebrating success.
  26. I explored uh definitely different methods and approaches
  27. and incorporating what I've learned along the way
  28. and definitely hasn't always been easy and
  29. there was definitely some challenges and setbacks.
  30. But
  31. um
  32. as I've kind of grown,
  33. I've definitely learned to persevere and stay focused on my goals.
  34. Oh, I forgot to show the picture.
  35. This is, I also learned some new practical skills like sewing on a sewing machine.
  36. That was
  37. really interesting at first, but I think I got the hang of it as you can see.
  38. So self reflection has been a very significant part of my journey.
  39. It has allowed me to kind of pause and reflect
  40. on what kind of professional I want to be.
  41. And I've taken the time to kind of evaluate my strengths and weaknesses,
  42. my values and my passions
  43. and through self reflection.
  44. I've definitely gained clarity on my purpose and direction and it
  45. has definitely been a guiding compass in my future career.
  46. And these are the rabbits at the arc. There is pumpkin
  47. and Easter. They have been super fun and super cuddly to kind of uh hang out around.
  48. So like any other journey,
  49. there have definitely been some challenges along the way.
  50. Um I'm sure as you all know, personal life, work,
  51. life and self doubt can all be barriers to our success.
  52. However, I've learned
  53. to kind of identify these barriers and
  54. develop strategies to overcome them and cope.
  55. Um
  56. definitely have learned to cultivate a growth mindset and
  57. to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and to
  58. never give up on my goals,
  59. some more pretty cool artwork.
  60. So rewarding moments.
  61. Um one of the most rewarding aspects of
  62. this journey has been making connections with others,
  63. building relationships,
  64. collaborating with other people and learning from mentors
  65. and peers have all been extremely invaluable experiences.
  66. I've also learned the importance of practicing gratitude, kindness, compassion,
  67. not only towards others but also towards myself.
  68. Um celebrating achievements together and encouraging
  69. others to share their rewarding moments.
  70. And acknowledging our progress has um
  71. definitely been moments of joy in fulfilling
  72. fulfillment.
  73. This is some cool um
  74. dinosaur artwork that one individual made.
  75. So the final chapter um
  76. kind of approaching the end of practicum next semester will be
  77. practicum three, the last leg of
  78. um practicum.
  79. And I'm not really too sure where I want to go next,
  80. but I'm really excited to kind of start something new
  81. and
  82. I'm grateful for the lessons I've learned along the way and
  83. the growth I've experienced and the person I'm starting to become.
  84. Uh it's just the beginning kind of of a new career and a new journey. And
  85. um
  86. this field is definitely a lifelong learning thing. And
  87. uh it's important to embrace new opportunities and to try and
  88. continue my growth as a professional and as an individual,
  89. this is kind of some memorable moments I've had. So This is
  90. me and my practical buddy at the all
  91. employee Spring meeting.
  92. Another picture of the spring meeting.
  93. The ark actually sees a lot of wildlife,
  94. saw a lot of moose during the last couple of months
  95. and they kind of just hang out outside the Ark.
  96. This was our intern spotlight. It was pretty cool to see,
  97. um,
  98. all the other interns and kind of what they have going on
  99. in their life and where they come from and their goals.
  100. This is one of my favorite paintings that I think I've seen
  101. some of the individuals do.
  102. And of course, she asked me to get her boots in the picture. She's very proud of those.
  103. So, yeah.
  104. Um I just want to thank you all for joining me
  105. on this journey and kind of going through it together and,
  106. you know, growing together as, as classmates and hopefully friends as well.
  107. And I hope that
  108. my story,
  109. you guys can relate to it and it's inspired you guys to reflect on your own journey
  110. and embrace learning as a lifelong process.
  111. And it's important to
  112. identify barriers and learn to overcome and cultivate a
  113. growth mindset and
  114. knowing
  115. when to celebrate your achievements and practice gratitude, kindness,
  116. compassion.
  117. And here's two new opportunities, rewarding moments and an exciting future ahead.
  118. Thank you.
