  16. uh Smith expressed her concern of how bad the world is,
  17. but at the end she expresses some hope for this world.

  19. Uh it's what's the Outer experienced in her
  20. personal life that influencer on her work also,
  21. what's what led the Outer to write good bones
  22. of.

  24. I focused mostly on the social context for this presentation.
  25. The society that we live in is full of uncertainty and violence. Uh, some point.
  26. Uh some statistics use concerning for example, a mass shooting.
  27. That's something that happened in in the U. S. Um. Uh they always keep in mind.
  28. Uh as always as well as a parent. Um
  29. It's always a concerning statistic since 2009 and there
  30. has been 281 mass shooting in the United States,
  31. resulting in 1584 people shot and killed uh in a 1046 resulting in
  32. um people shot and wounded.
  33. This is only a portion of what is depicted as violence in the world.
  34. Um
  35. Also
  36. I generated the thesis statement
  37. for this presentation. This
  38. working this is steven uh the Good Bones poems
  39. others thought reflects an image of reality of violence,
  40. the violent world that we live in constructed with the challenge.
