  1. Good morning, Spartans Easter morning announcements for Friday, June 9th.
  2. It is of course, the last day of school and with it,
  3. we're on a super minimum day schedule. Each class is 25 minutes long
  4. and after each class there is a five minute passing period. Ordinarily we go seven.
  5. So uh get there quickly,
  6. make sure that you're here today that you stay in class.
  7. We're not gonna have people just hanging out, it's not safe, it's not secure and
  8. there's still work to be done if you're here.
  9. So if you plan to spend the rest of the day with us,
  10. make sure you do it inside your proper classroom throughout.
  11. Wanted to give our big thanks.
  12. So the crew called Strawberry Farm and put on a great show
  13. yesterday in the quad and they will be back next year.
  14. We are honored to have them and all the music
  15. and all the art here on campus throughout the year.
  16. Tons of good stuff going on this summer. We want you to take advantage.
  17. We know that some of you are doing summer school,
  18. some of you are going to be going to work.
  19. Some of you are vacationing, some staying with families, uh, whatever it is you do,
  20. we wish you the best safest and happy be a summer,
  21. tons of stuff going on in terms of athletics
  22. and you can take part because everything's open.
  23. This is not restricted to people on teams.
  24. By the way, if you're on a team,
  25. make sure you get your jersey or whatever uniform you were wearing back in today.
  26. Otherwise that goes on your bill and could become a big charge.
  27. By the time you're a senior
  28. there is volleyball that's gonna be available for girls Monday, Wednesday,
  29. 5 to 7.
  30. And then Friday from 9 to 11 girls basketball, open gym from 10 to noon.
  31. Monday through Thursday, water polo in the pool, 5 30 to 7 o'clock,
  32. wrestling will have selected open gyms, football, cheer, cross country,
  33. just ask and you will find out take advantage, do some great stuff.
  34. There's tons of good stuff going on in the city as well.
  35. In the city of Paola
  36. alone, there's gonna be a car show, gonna be movies in the park,
  37. gonna be concerts and music as well to take advantage of any of those things as well.
  38. And around town,
  39. there's things like the county fair that are gonna be happening,
  40. which feature Pinole Valley,
  41. the Rise Center in Richmond is
  42. opportunities as well. And then there's tons of job opportunities. Also,
  43. we've been talking about them, check out those written announcements,
  44. some of the links for some of the work opportunities as well.
  45. Richmond Youth has chances to make money and to get ahead as well.
  46. So I hope you take advantage of that when we come back next year.
  47. Of course, you're gonna be looking at the juniors
  48. class at 24 which will soon be the seniors,
  49. get yourself some merchandise so that you can be ready
  50. to rock it when you come back into school.
  51. Let everybody know

  54. in so many ways. Thanks to all the teachers.
  55. Thanks to all the office staff, the custodians, the security team,
  56. everybody involved in athletics and
