  1. being a fanatic soccer fan my whole life, I start
  2. playing soccer at the age of three and saw my
  3. first revs game when I was 13 years old.
  4. I was able to witness firsthand just how much this
  5. club means to its fans.
  6. Seeing just how much Covid has affected people this past
  7. year by reaching out to others suffering during this time,
  8. this club can truly make a difference in their lives
  9. as well.
  10. We all require resilience in 2020.
  11. However, your club can continue to maintain and improve fan
  12. loyalty by implementing my plan for reviving REVS campaign.
  13. Being one of the original 13 soccer clubs founded at
  14. the start of the MLS on December 17th, 1993 this
  15. club has persevered for over 26 years.
  16. Such a duration of time should indicate that the club
  17. has had its fair share of hardships.
  18. However, such hardships were overcome by the means of proactive
  19. plans and strategies to help maintain the club's fan loyalty.
  20. Being a club that is worth $245 million bringing in
  21. an estimate of $29 million a year winning the US
  22. Open Cup in 2000 and seven, as well as the
  23. North American Super League in 2000 and eight.
  24. This club has had its fair share of success.
  25. However, such success is overshadowed by the fact that this
  26. club needs to implement change.
  27. Find the exit of this pandemic by implementing my plan.
  28. Not only will you be able to maintain fan loyalty,
  29. but you'll be able to increase it as well.
  30. For my research studies start with primary research.
  31. I utilize observational methods where I review the inner workings
  32. of the club.
  33. Then I conducted interviews with your activities director tailored equity
  34. From my secondary research, I focused on reviewing your website
  35. social media accounts and then I reviewed other MLS teams
  36. websites in actions throughout the pandemic.
  37. To start with your website, I wanted to make sure
  38. that you're providing links to non profit organizations where fans
  39. could either donate or provide information on what these nonprofit
  40. organizations are doing to really help the relief cause of
  41. the pandemic.
  42. For social media accounts, I reviewed likewise of your website
  43. review to see if you have links provided where fans
  44. could go to your website and like I said earlier,
  45. donate to the relief cause as this is extremely important
  46. to show the club's success in, you know, providing support
  47. for the pandemic.
  48. In reviewing other MLS teams, websites and their actions throughout
  49. the pandemic, I wanted to see what they were doing.
  50. In contrast to us.
  51. I wanted to see how they were improving and what
  52. kind of marketing strategies they were taking up to really
  53. see what was making their clubs really be extremely successful
  54. during this time.
  55. Yeah, for interpreting the research data for my swot analysis,
  56. I focus on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that I
  57. saw within the club for my SWAT breakdown.
  58. To start with strength, use social media extremely effectively have
  59. an extremely strong fan base and a positive history.
  60. These three components are key factors in what makes your
  61. club successful and different from the rest.
  62. However, despite that success, there are some weaknesses that I
  63. see there is a lack of managerial presence and it's
  64. an average team with no rebuilding.
  65. Now, by gaining your involvement in the club, not only
  66. when we see instant success, but also fans are going
  67. to see that you truly care, and that's really going
  68. to get them inspired.
  69. And we all know about that time where you flew
  70. in your private jet to get one million mass for
  71. social workers trying to end this pandemic.
  72. Now for opportunities that I see the ability to rebuild
  73. due to Covid.
  74. 19 as we have all this time to really focus
  75. on change as change is important and it's really gonna
  76. propel our club to new heights and increasing your owner
  77. presence now by simply just making a video saying that
  78. you accept and you like the activities that we're doing
  79. and you support them or maybe even attending one of
  80. them, it's really going to really help.
  81. Fans show that, like I said, you're involved and you
  82. really want to help make this club a better one
  83. for threats that I see failure to rebuild or a
  84. lack of change and previously average teams rebuilding during the
  85. covid 19 pandemic.
  86. Our competition is rebuilding and so do we.
  87. We have to really focus that on this time that
  88. we are being given.
  89. We had that time to make change, make mistakes we
  90. need to utilize that truly propelled this club to new
  91. heights. First strategies for leading change to start from my
  92. objectives, I have forming objectives that are going to help
  93. determine the success of this campaign to start off increasing
  94. ticket sales, increasing your involvement, increasing a social media presence
  95. beyond the New England Revolution region and introducing benefits and
  96. discounts not just the current Revs fans, but also to
  97. future ones as well.
  98. From activities that I'm holding.
  99. I'm hosting a skills challenge on November 1st to the
  100. 14th of 2021 then a YouTube documentary on November 8th
  101. 2021. Germany for fans on November 20th online FIFA tournament
  102. on December 1st, the Q and A on all social
  103. media platforms on December 14th, as well as a trivia
  104. night on social media on December 20th.
  105. Now, to start with the Skills challenge, this is a
  106. really good way to get fans back into the swing
  107. of things, as it's been six months then, since most
  108. of them have actually got the chance to compete in
  109. something soccer related.
  110. Now this is a perfect way to provide that experience
  111. for and with this skills challenge, not only are we
  112. maintaining that fan loyalty but are increasing it as this
  113. is going to propel fancy really want to get engaged
  114. in this activity and the club.
  115. And to really provide that incentive, the winner of this
  116. challenge is going to be able to have that chance
  117. of getting that one own experience with a New England
  118. Revolution player.
  119. Now who doesn't want to meet their idols, right?
  120. And for the YouTube documentary, this is gonna be broadcasted
  121. on YouTube.
  122. Now YouTube is a platform where many different countries and
  123. people all over the world are able to truly see
  124. videos that are interested in there, you know, like categories.
  125. So if they like soccer, that's what it will pop
  126. up on their feet now.
  127. Since YouTube reaches many different countries across the world, this
  128. is a perfect way to engage many different foreign audiences
  129. now. Yes, they may have their own clubs that they
  130. wish to support, however, since this is such a unique
  131. kind of activity as it's going to be highlighting doing
  132. and revolutions day to day lives, how they're staying positive
  133. during a pandemic, what they're doing during training to really
  134. improve themselves.
  135. Despite the restrictions that we have and what the club
  136. is doing to provide support and relief, during this hard
  137. time. Now, since this is such a unique idea, this
  138. is a beautiful way in which many different people are
  139. going to be able to observe this and just see
  140. how much this club is invested in its fans.
  141. Lives now for the tournament.
  142. For fans, this is gonna be a 77 style tournament
  143. or fans are going to be able to come and
  144. compete for the first time in six months.
  145. This is a great way to maintain final quality and
  146. just get fans back into the swing of things.
  147. And just like the skills challenge, the winner of this
  148. is going to have the opportunity to really get that
  149. one on one basis with a New England Revolution player
  150. via Zoom for the online People tournament.
  151. This is perfect as we're going to be able to
  152. reach a different audience in a different demographic, such as
  153. gamers or simply just people who want to have fun
  154. for the Q and A on all social media accounts.
  155. This is going to be perfect as we're going to
  156. be able to really give back to the community, answer
  157. some questions they have, whether that being what we're doing
  158. to support the relief aspect of the covid 19 process.
  159. And you know what the players are doing to, really,
  160. you know, improve their skills and stay positive during these
  161. hard times for the trivia night.
  162. This is just a great way to provide entertainment for
  163. fans, as some of them I have to be stuck
  164. inside. Still, did you covid restrictions Now for my budget,
  165. the total cost breakdown.
  166. Now the total cost of this is going to be
  167. $215,000 and to get into different activities to start off
  168. with the skills challenge is going to cost $0.
  169. However, just because it costs $0 doesn't mean we get
  170. anything out.
  171. So for the skills challenge, we're gonna be able to
  172. reach a number of different people, get them more invested
  173. into the club and excited again that this club is
  174. hosting different activities to really start off strong.
  175. And this really serious of activities for the YouTube documentary,
  176. This is gonna cost $200,000.
  177. This is going to help show fans, you know, not
  178. just in the New England Revolution, not just in the
  179. New England region, but also in different countries as well.
  180. Why this club is such a special one.
  181. And this cost is going to cover the production, uh,
  182. side of things and the producing of the documentary itself.
  183. So for the tournament for fans, this is going to
  184. cost $7408.
  185. This is going to cover the expenses of the kits
  186. or uniforms, depending on what country you live in, as
  187. well as the different side of entry stuff.
  188. So the field renting all that kind of stuff now
  189. for the fans all their asses to provide a $100
  190. entry fee so we can get some kind of, uh,
  191. form back of money and we're really getting something out
  192. of this.
  193. But not only are we getting money out of this,
  194. but we're also getting the interest, you know?
  195. Well, of course, we're going to be adhering to social
  196. guidelines provided from the covid, you know, relief, pandemic.
  197. But we're also going to be, you know, just getting
  198. that fan excitement again for the online FIFA 21 tournament.
  199. This is going to cost $45.62 with the new FIFA
  200. game just coming out FIFA 21.
  201. This is simply the entry fee for the online tournament
  202. mode, where obviously many different people can compete in a
  203. tournament style.
  204. So in terms of the Q and A and Trivia
  205. Night, this is going to cost $0.
  206. But like I said for the skills challenge, this is
  207. really getting that fan entertainment and answering questions that they
  208. may have for my key metrics.
  209. To start with the key metric breakdown for my client
  210. retention rate, we are utilizing the skills challenge and the
  211. Q and A and Social Trivia night on all social
  212. media accounts.
  213. This is reaching 1000 of the 5000 projected people attending
  214. games. So this means that 1000 people that have that
  215. see these challenges Q and A and trivia well, this
  216. is the amount of people that are going to be
  217. going to games now.
  218. There is typically an average attendance of 17,000 people during
  219. attending games.
  220. Now, with that extra 1000 people that have been influencing
  221. influenced, that means that they are going to be able
  222. to attend games, and that increases that number to 18,000
  223. people for the FIFA tournament this is reaching 16 players
  224. as this is the amount of players that are going
  225. to be competing in this different demographic and different style
  226. of activity.
  227. For the documentary, this is reaching one million views and
  228. for a total people reached for these activities is 1,001,000
  229. and 72 people for my revenue growth, I haven't expected
  230. ry of 366%.
  231. That is tripling the 215,000 that we're putting in.
  232. And to put that into a number of money that
  233. we're getting back, we're gaining $1,001,680.
  234. This is tripling, I repeat, tripling the amount of money
  235. that you're putting it.
  236. So this campaign is truly a success for my final
  237. conclusions. In my interview with Taylor and our back and
  238. forth conversations, she stated that my campaign is extremely clear
  239. in a perfect way, encapsulating the different types of issues
  240. that this club is facing in terms of ticket growth
  241. during the pandemic.
  242. As you can see, she stated that it's a perfect
  243. way to really get fans excited again and through my
  244. Roo, why the different types of key metrics that I
  245. used. I hope you see the success of this campaign.
  246. Thank you.
  247. And I hope you get on board with the reviving
  248. Revs campaign.
