  1. Hi, it's tim Hagan from progress, coaching and, you know,
  2. I'll tell you the last two years, I've never seen anything like it,
  3. and this is coming from a guy for 28 years that's been teaching the
  4. gospel of coaching and why leaders need to coach and develop their talent.
  5. Now it seems everybody's doing it, which is great,
  6. it's great for the industry, it's great for talent development, and dare I say
  7. to my training, friends, training has never been the problem,
  8. it's always been the reinforcement.
  9. Now, I've said for years,
  10. There are two reasons why leaders don't coach.
  11. The reason they give is they don't have time, right?
  12. There are two reasons why people don't coach,
  13. they don't know how
  14. or they don't know what to say.
  15. Now that's not a potshot at our leaders, it's just,
  16. it really is a different language, it's a different way of doing things.
  17. So we've been training and coaching and working with leaders for decades
  18. and we've stumbled across something that I think might really intrigue you.
  19. It's interesting.
  20. So, you know, when you think about what do we want from our coaching, right,
  21. what do we want from our coaching, we want application,
  22. we want our leaders applying it being strength based,
  23. asking open ended questions and leading with positives,
  24. that's hard for some people, it takes time, right?
  25. And, you know, there are coaching models out there from group one on one peer to peer,
  26. there's all sorts of group coaching models,
  27. yet, there's still something at the forefront.
  28. Now, this does not exonerate leaders from coaching,
  29. but we all know the number one thing that becomes that barrier in their minds is time.
  30. What if I don't have time?
  31. So
  32. I want to introduce you to a methodology.
  33. I want to do it in three steps.
  34. What if you had a co pilot for your coaching?
  35. For your leaders,
  36. potentially for you
  37. and
  38. your employees?
  39. So think about content being delivered,
  40. questions being asked,
  41. an application being discovered and facilitated.
  42. So let me give you an example,
  43. let's say I send a lesson to an employee on having
  44. a positive attitude and he or she has a negative attitude.
  45. I would then deliver in this product
  46. coaching questions as if I was coaching the employee
  47. yet the leader can facilitate this, we call it the coaching copilot methodology,
  48. very simple.
  49. And then the third thing is how do we know they're going to put this into play?
  50. How do we know they're going to apply this?
  51. How do we know that they're going to put this into
  52. development?
  53. So what we've done here
  54. is we've created
  55. programs for employees
  56. for leaders
  57. and then ultimately for culture creation or cultural creation.
  58. So when you think about a piece of content,
  59. you know, often it's more for training and learning yet,
  60. what if it was structured in a way that it facilitated coaching as a
  61. co pilot with you and your leaders to develop not only your leaders,
  62. but your employees as well.
  63. If you're intrigued, reach out to us. It's a very cool methodology.
