  1. Hi, My name is Maha Demo and I'm running for
  2. host vice president.
  3. I'm currently a junior official high school, and those of
  4. you who know me know that I'm a very goal
  5. oriented, hardworking, empathetic and determined individual.
  6. I hope to become a nurse practitioner or a P
  7. A in the future, and this will be my third
  8. year in HASA, so I'm very much familiar.
  9. The structure and function of host as a club.
  10. I've also previously worked with host officers in the past
  11. both my freshman and sophomore year, So I'm very much
  12. aware of the responsibilities and duties that host the officers
  13. air held accountable for.
  14. As host vice president, I hope to organize covert, friendly
  15. and socially distance outdoor gatherings that will hopefully bring us
  16. together as a community and bridge the gaps that the
  17. pandemic has created.
  18. Another one of my goals for this chapter is to
  19. introduce you all to a variety of careers in the
  20. health care industry and improve your understanding of the process
  21. of obtaining a career in the medical field.
  22. I will accomplish this by bringing in a broad range
  23. of speakers ranging from medical students to college professors to
  24. medical researchers to surgeons and much more.
  25. My goal is to help you as much as I
  26. can, and hopefully I can alleviate some of your anxieties
  27. about going into the health care field.
  28. So please feel free to use me as a resource
  29. and then a guide, and hopefully I can work to
  30. diminish all of your concerns.
  31. I have a lot of fundraising ideas in mind that
  32. will hopefully help those that grow financially, such as selling
  33. hosts, a mass, many hand sanitizers and hosting fun outdoor
  34. fundraising games.
  35. I also have a lot of opportunities in mind for
  36. shadow work and volunteer hours that will hopefully provide you
  37. with as much as experience as possible.
  38. As you can see here, I've also started drafting a
  39. couple of design ideas for a hostess shirt for this
  40. chapter as host of vice president, I want to make
  41. this chapter and memorable and beneficial experience for all of
  42. you, and I hope to create an environment in which
  43. we can laugh and learn together.
