  2. Happy monday.
  3. I hope this week is a bit easier for you.
  4. You've got a lot going on.
  5. It's a four day work week you're sleeping in, probably
  6. enjoying the day off.
  7. I know I'm I'm super thankful for victoria or Elizabeth
  8. or whoever's birthday or whatever we're celebrating today.
  9. I'm thankful for it.
  10. It's just an excuse to light fireworks and celebrate the
  11. fact that summer started.
  12. But boy oh boy I sure need this warm weather.
  13. I don't know about you guys.
  14. We've got tons of exciting stuff that we've got a
  15. new partnership that we're excited to talk about.
  16. Um So I just hope that you'll take a few
  17. minutes and and enjoy this video as we talk about
  18. what we got going on with T.

  20. This week.
  21. All right.
  22. First off we got our prayer meeting bible study Tuesday
  23. night at 6:30 p.m. It was a lot of fun
  24. last week we had a blast.
  25. We we hung out.
  26. We read john three, we prayed for each other and
  27. we lifted each other up.
  28. Come on out this week.
  29. If you're, if you're searching, if you're skeptical, whatever it
  30. is, you are welcome.
  31. We would love to be there.
  32. Next up of course, Is our bread and butter the
  33. Thursday night at 6:30 PM support group.
  34. We're gonna, we're gonna share some struggles, some victories.
  35. We're going to walk through life and support one of
  36. them. Um, you know the deal thursday 6 30 we'll
  37. make a post and drop a comment if you want
  38. to come.
  39. All right now, the part that I'm most excited for
  40. is we are so excited to announce.
  41. We have a new partnership with community builders Network of
  42. Hope and they are offering a support group for women
  43. who have a loved one who has experienced addiction or
  44. is experiencing addiction.
  45. This group will run on monday night and there'll be
  46. a separate post coming out from us that will detail
  47. how you can sign up.
  48. Guys. We are so so happy to offer this to
  49. be able to be in partnership with them and that
  50. they are offering this and that we can use it
  51. as an avenue to support more and more people.
  52. Um we now have programming on three out of four
  53. weeknights excluding friday, I count that as a weekend, but
  54. uh yeah, so guys, we're just so thankful, we are
  55. so thankful that we have the support that we are
  56. growing exponentially.
  57. Um, so I just wanted to say thank you, thank
  58. you for taking the time to watch these videos for
  59. coming out to our groups.
  60. Um yeah, just thank you.
  61. We cannot thank you enough.
  62. And and the movement is growing, we can see that
  63. and we can see that we're reaching out into more
  64. and more areas were affecting change in different areas and
  65. you know, we are so proud and we are so
  66. happy that God is using us in such a way
  67. and so from the bottom of my heart and I
  68. know express um the rest of leadership came to express
  69. their heartfelt gratitude, thank you for your support.
  70. All right, I have a short little thing prepared, It's
  71. Pentecost while it was Pentecost yesterday.
  72. Um and Pentecost, if you don't know is a jewish
  73. festival, but christians celebrated as the day of the outpouring
  74. of the Holy Spirit on the apostles.
  75. You can find this in Acts chapter One, Our Acts
  76. chapter two, sorry, is when the the outpouring of the
  77. spirit comes and of course the apostles, they speak in
  78. tongues. Now I want to, I want to take a
  79. moment and focus on jesus words and acts one verse
  80. sport, where he commands his disciples, the 11th to not
  81. leave Jerusalem, but to wait for the father's promise which
  82. will be fulfilled at Pentecost and I tried to put
  83. myself in the shoes of the apostles and jesus has
  84. now been risen and they've seen the risen Lord and
  85. they believed in them and Jesus is now telling them
  86. to go and wait.
  87. If I saw the risen christ, I would want to
  88. go tell everyone about it, you know, and I think
  89. that would be a natural expression for most people would
  90. be too, hey, I saw this guy who has been
  91. raised from the dead, you got to come see him,
  92. he's legit come check him out, but that can't happen
  93. yet, the disciples have to wait and this is reflective
  94. of much of the christian life, we are often instructed
  95. by God into season to go into seasons of waiting
  96. and to wait for his promises and wait for the
  97. outpouring of his spirit on our lives so that we
  98. may be equipped to go and reach the world.
  99. I know as I look back on my own life,
  100. I had to go through about 12, 16 months of
  101. waiting, you know, of course I had to get better
  102. and we all had to get better, you know, those
  103. of us who have been through a program.
  104. Um and and it's frustrating waiting there.
  105. You get to a point and you say okay, I
  106. think I'm pretty much better, but I still have to
  107. wait, I still have to wait and do these 12
  108. months or whatever it is.
  109. I'm 10 months clean now, I'm good to go, I
  110. think, but I have to wait, and it's frustrating, and
  111. sometimes God asks you to wait in the wilderness.
  112. We see the Israelites in the old testament.
  113. Waiting in the wilderness for 40 years until they are
  114. ready to enjoy the benefits of God's promises.
  115. My point is this if you are in a season
  116. of waiting, if you are in a season of wilderness
  117. of wandering, if if you don't know what's going on,
  118. you know, if you're struggling, if you're hurt, um if
  119. you're hurting, if you're watching a loved one goes through
  120. addiction, if you're in one of these types of seasons,
  121. No, that God's promises are true.
  122. They will come to pass.
  123. You will see fruit bear and you're like, take it
  124. from someone who thought that they would never be on
  125. this side.
  126. I thought I would always be stuck there.
  127. It trapped within my mental illness, trapped within, you know,
  128. the bonds of my addiction.
  129. But God lifted me out and set my feet on
  130. solid ground and brought me into the land that he
  131. promised me.
  132. I can tell you God's promises are true.
  133. So no matter who you are, no matter what you're
  134. going through this week, I know that you are loved
  135. by the most high you are cared for the God
  136. of eternity stands by your side ready and willing to
  137. fight with you and for you all he requires that
  138. you ask.
  139. So take that step of faith, reach out, call a
  140. brother, call a friend, but lean on God, you know,
  141. we are, we are soldiers in the Lord's army.
  142. I love that we had a brother start motorcycle ministry.
  143. I think it is um, soldiers of God check it
  144. out on facebook.
  145. And uh, I just, I just joined in the group
  146. but I love that name and I love that idea
  147. that we are in war guys.
  148. This is not, this is not fun and games.
  149. This is a spiritual war, but we cannot fight it
  150. in our own power.
  151. We must rely on the power of the almighty God
  152. of eternity who will reign victorious, have a good week
  153. and know that God is fighting for you.
