  1. waking up without a fresh cup of joe is a fearful thought for most people.
  2. Sometimes the convenience of making coffee in your own home
  3. saves you time,
  4. it saves money and even say that you have tremendous of blissful rest.
  5. Hi, my name is Peyton Glisson and today I'm going to demonstrate how to make
  6. french press coffee
  7. and reviewing the steps are going to learn about
  8. grinding the coffee, measuring and pouring
  9. and
  10. topping it all off and your favorite mug.
  11. Right? So the first step is making sure that you have the right grind of coffee.
  12. We're gonna use coarse coffee for french press is of course coffee looks like the
  13. one in the middle picture and it's about as thick as a pencil tip.
  14. You can find it at your grinder at home on the
  15. most course setting or you can do what I do.
  16. And I was asked for french press ground at my favorite coffee shop,
  17. Starbucks has a french press that you can ask them to grind it on.
  18. And if a local coffee shop doesn't have a french press setting,
  19. just ask them to grind it for you at their most course setting.
  20. Step two is measuring the coffee and putting it into your French press.
  21. I'm only gonna make one cup of coffee.
  22. So that means I'm only gonna use two tablespoons of coffee per 64 oz of water.
  23. You want to make sure that your water is hot
  24. and about almost bowling temperature. If you want to get specific, that's
  25. 100 and 90 degrees or 200 degrees. Fahrenheit in between that
  26. or you can do it too when it's about to boil.
  27. If you don't want to measure it first thing in the morning.
  28. Mm
  29. I have my grounds in here.
  30. I'm gonna take my pre measured hot water and I am just going
  31. to pour it over my ground so they can check that they're all covered
  32. and wet.
  33. Now
  34. you do need to let it sit for about
  35. four minutes
  36. and so I will see you in four minutes.
  37. It's been about four minutes.
  38. And this gives your coffee enough time to speak,
  39. meaning that it's going to be the right acidity, the right flavor
  40. and the perfect temperature for a nice hot cup of coffee.
  41. Your next step is just
  42. using this handle and you're gonna press down gently
  43. on top of the grounds.
  44. This ensures that only liquid face the top
  45. and all your grounds go to the bottom.
  46. And then next you're just gonna pour you a cup of coffee into whatever
  47. mug you like and you're gonna add any creamer flavors sugar that you desire
  48. and you're gonna see that there are no grounds in your coffee at all.
  49. No,
  50. the last thing I do is easy cleaning up.
  51. You can add coffee grounds to compost for your garden or you can just throw them out.
  52. It's whatever is easiest for you and most french fries is our dishwasher safe,
  53. even easier cleanup
  54. and now you have a perfect cup of coffee.
  55. So in conclusion after those three easy steps,
  56. you have saved time.
  57. There is no rushing off and getting into morning traffic or
  58. getting stuck in a drafty line at your favorite coffee chain,
  59. and it lasts for a perfect cup of coffee, not just in your own home,
  60. but when you're camping, like in this picture or on road trips or
  61. anywhere that you really desire, where you can get some hot water,
  62. some ground coffee and a french breast.
  63. Thank you so much for hanging out with me and nick and coffee, and I hope you
  64. can take from this and keep on caffeine dating yourself.
