  1. Good afternoon, this is principal Nelson Warren with a weekly update for May 23,
  2. graduation is tomorrow and we are so very excited to
  3. celebrate with our seniors in this huge accomplishment of graduation.
  4. I know that all of you wanted to attend graduation but
  5. due to the time of day graduation has taken place,
  6. we still have students on our campus that will be attending school
  7. and we do appreciate your efforts in getting here
  8. to school to make sure and ensure that we have
  9. a safe school climate and that learning continues all
  10. the way through the end of the school year.
  11. However, I wanted to offer this opportunity for you.
  12. I see graduation as a,
  13. a motivation for our students that are sitting right here on our campus
  14. As the very students that are sitting here will be taking that same path in 2-3 years.
  15. So it's important for them to see their peers and to see this dignified ceremony
  16. of their peers and what they have to look forward to in the next few years,
  17. so please feel free to log in to the live streaming on Youtube
  18. to review graduation tomorrow morning
  19. As we've already reached the end of our 21 22 school year, we're on the last week
  20. um there's a few items of business that I would like to communicate with you
  21. first,
  22. make sure that those of you that have not checked out with
  23. Miss Lawrence um and gotten your debit cards and receipts settled up.
  24. Touch base with Miss Lawrence to make sure that that's done
  25. okay, that's our external bookkeeper,
  26. those of you that are club sponsors and coaches make sure that you have touched base
  27. with MS Walden. Our internal bookkeeper
  28. as it pertains to um invoices,
  29. payments that need to be made and or deposits
  30. that need to be made to your internal accounts.
  31. Be sure to remove all
  32. all of the items from your walls of your
  33. classrooms and make sure you box up all loose items
  34. in your class as we will have some work
  35. completed on our campus this year and within our classrooms
  36. where those particular items will need to be out of the way
  37. as maintenance personnel attends to the needs of our campus,
  38. the end of the year checkout list,
  39. you can start those on thursday morning and friday as the individuals that you will
  40. need to be signing out with will be available during those dates and times.
  41. So make sure that you use the panther weekly update from the prior two weeks.
  42. The Google form has been located there for two weeks
  43. and you can print that form down and start your
  44. check off process on thursday and friday of this week,
  45. friendly reminder that students are aware that there is no but book bags
  46. or backpacks and no large oversized bags allowed on campus this week.
  47. If you happen to see a student with a large book bag or oversized bag,
  48. please direct that student to the back of the registration office so that they can
  49. turn in that item and they can retrieve it at the end of the day.
  50. Important, important, very important announcement.
  51. We do have one last mandatory professional development and
  52. that professional development will take place on Wednesday May 25
  53. At 1:38 PM. I'm sorry, 1:30 pm
  54. Microsoft teams.
  55. It is mandatory for all instructional personnel to law again and attend the 1:30 pm
  56. Professional development on Wednesday May 25 as it relates to the accommodations
  57. 4504s and IEPs and how to document them as a corrective action measure.
  58. On Thursday May 26 at 8:30, we will have a brief faculty meeting in the PA. C. as well.
