Salam Monium,
Maram,
MauA
Hiwa,
Barato.
Peace be upon you all and good evening everyone. My name is Einar
Kati.
And we could say that I am the master of ceremony of today's presentation.
As you can see here,
I am going to talk about this gown.
The name is the Orion, which is a ball go with one of sorry night sky formation
named Orion constellation as inspiration.
And this gun was created by me.
Now we are going to talk about something else. The first one is about myself.
Now please look at these two columns.
The upper one is about designer profile.
I have already introduced myself to you earlier,
but let me introduce myself to you again as the designer of the gown.
OK. My name is Einar Karas
Ai and I am
one of the college students that go to education or fashion design of Pia
Hata
University.
Now at the lower column here,
you could see some preference I put there.
Uh These three are the main or the most
often used inspiration in my design in my project,
et cetera.
The first one is about astrology.
Now, you might
not quite familiar with this astrology,
it is quite similar to astronomy which learn
about the night sky, the object of the night sky.
So I learned about black hole, I learned about stars. I learned about N
play et cetera.
And when I learned about these things,
I feel like it is such a waste to not put those false, those big
experience and knowledge to my project,
right?
So
especially in this go
I use
orient constellation with star formation in the night sky.
And the second was the second one was fantasy.
I read a lot of novel, a lot of comics with fantasy as its
genre.
So it kind of affects me in my design. I often use
the design that looks like European et
cetera. And
the third one is feminine, romantic.
Uh It is one of the style, fashion style in fashion,
fashion design and
it often looks like feminine, of course, girly and flowy.
OK. Now that we are,
we are already talking about preference. Let's talk about
the big sign.
This page contains the general concept of my design.
This is the mood
board that I created before I make the design and the clothes.
So
uh I took the
theme to be the nice guy and inspiration that followed along is
the Oregon
constellation.
The Oran constellation is famous for some of the biggest stars in it.
Like petal juice.
Petal juice is a star
that remote to
gonna explode in about 100,000 years again
and,
and talking about the design,
the the gun that I created is not that
different from the mood book except for the fabric.
I use different fabric for it.
They're gonna talk it, talk it in the next page. Of course.
Um
I actually want to
make the upper g
fit for my body
and the skirt would be more volume
like this like typical ball gun you would see in
your
met Gala in your party.
OK.
Let's talk about the story.
This is
I'm gonna talk about the break the the background and
the development of my design from the mood book to
the current
gown.
So I took these
two college courses which is Hot Culture and Fashion Management.
This gown is actually dedicated for those two courses.
And my lecturer
at first taught me that there are four provision
to make this
go
to
to hold
an even management
to show this gun.
And the first one and the second one is actually similar because
it's the same by heart
du
make the design, the planning, the execution of this to
the hot culture and fashion management.
You need to do everything by heart to make, to make, to do everything by heart.
Because
when you put that dedication,
you would see some success, you would def you would definitely success in the end.
And the third one is about heritage involvement. No, I'm from Indonesia.
We are from Indonesia and we know that Indonesia
has so many, has so many
different culture,
different heritage
even in the fashion industry because we would see, but
we would see
some cat,
we would see lig et cetera and it would be such a waste to not put it in our project.
OK. The third one, the fourth one is high quality
hot culture is a
fashion of high class.
You can
make everything in a hurry actually. And
a gown or a dress
of hot Culture uh
usually takes longer for months.
So
and
the fabrics
chosen
to make it, the accessories also
has to be really, really
classy.
You cannot use some cheap things you would see in traditional market
and in my gown, I use three fabrics.
The first one is satin
dots. The second one is Organza
and the third one is Bati
mega
and
you can see that satin
dos
used for
most of my gown,
the upper garment, the skirt and the
and the
hijab.
I use head
bridges
and then the second one, Organza, it is for my skirt and mega
Maung for some kind of decoration in the belt in the
neck and actually in the back there are some
kind of but
as well, you would see it in the recent work letter
from the Mood
Board. Earlier, you could see some difference
uh in the fabric
uh in the mood
board. I put
th
clothes for the skirt. But
unfortunately, or fortunately, I use Organza for this because of some reason
to make it more
similar to the main fabric which is set in
DOS.
And
now we're gonna talk about
the brain.
You can see here it is
Asina.
Asina
is the name of the event where this go and other 94 braces
being shown to the public at 20th May
2020
four.
And for your information Oceana
is an annual fashion event held by the Fashion Design Department of
Yakarta
University. Of course, it's a each year it has its own name. But this year we have
Asina.
