  20. Um, and, um, it's clear that the count knows what
  21. he's doing.
  22. They have some, like, little like the count makes you
  23. know, certain gestures, like he's, you know, um, indicating that
  24. to the reader.
  25. At least maybe not today.

  27. taking sort of the last of his money.

  47. Um, and the president of the hospital is like, um
  48. so we need it tomorrow.
  49. Or like our books are being examined tomorrow.

  52. What time are they coming?
  53. And I'll have it for you in the morning.

  57. he's like, Okay, cool.
  58. Um, and leaves and dangler is is like, um Nope,
  59. I'm gonna run.
  60. And so he takes as much money as he has.

  62. I think it's like 50,000 francs or so, um gathers
  63. that money that he has burned some papers, right, trying
  64. to cover his tracks about what he has done in
  65. the fraud that he's been involved with and how he's,
  66. you know, gone broke.
  67. Um, and he writes a letter to Madame de Anglers,
  68. and we will see that that letter come up later.
  69. Um, it's also during this time that the Excuse me,
  70. the President hospital asks if um, dangler is going to
  71. go to the funeral for Valentine and Anglers is like,
  72. No, that whole Benedetto thing has made me look kind
  73. of foolish in town.
  74. So I'm trying to lay low, and he tells, um,
  75. the president of the hospital that you Jeannie has run
  76. away to join a convent.
  77. Um, and he told the count earlier that you Jeannie
  78. had gone on a visit with family because she was
  79. so embarrassed.
  80. And so he's just making up lies about how you
  81. Jeannie has left, um, to save his reputation and save
