  1. my apologies due to some technical difficulties, the last few
  2. minutes of my presentation were cut off, so I am
  3. re recording the last few minutes so that the full
  4. presentation can be submitted.
  5. The second section that I was covering under the leadership
  6. experience was the two factor theory under the two factor
  7. theory. Hygiene factors are the working conditions and patrons such
  8. as paying security, that individuals feel our camp feel dissatisfaction
  9. in and the motivators or the achievements of recognition that
  10. individuals receive in the work environment that they feel satisfaction
  11. in. Together.
  12. These can cause people to either feel highly satisfied with
  13. their jobs, are highly dissatisfied.
  14. And finally, we have the acquired needs theory of the
  15. acquired needs theory basically states that individuals have needs that
  16. they've acquired over a lifetime that need to be set
  17. up. They require to be satisfied, such as the need
  18. for achievement.
  19. This is saying that over a lifetime of individual has
  20. developed the need to feel accomplishment or to feel that
  21. they have attained something that's difficult for others to attain.
  22. Next, you have the need for affiliation.
  23. This is simply the need of an individual to feel
  24. friendship or feel acceptance into a group that others can't
  25. gain access into, Um, and finally, the need for power.
  26. This is, ah, on acquired need where people feel that
  27. they have the desire to impose their wheel on others
  28. or feel that they have influence over others or power
  29. either financially putting politically or in a business sense over
  30. those around them.
  31. Um, as far as a take away, I feel that
  32. leadership, whether authentic servant or transformational, is most effective when
  33. used by some someone who possesses emotional intelligence, an appropriate
  34. sense of justice, and resist the draws that group thing
  35. can put on a leader.
  36. Leaders should continue to aspire to, to use open communication,
  37. to motivate and inspire followers while also persuading others to
  38. develop skills and talents to accomplish organizational goals.
  39. Thank you for listening to my presentation.
  40. This is the section for questions.
  41. Thank you.
