  1. in between a rock and a hard place.
  2. There were many themes that readers could take away.
  3. The first theme I noticed was that people can develop
  4. a new appreciation for life after suffering from trauma and
  5. other poor experiences.
  6. The first evidence I found in the book to support
  7. this was for all that has happened in all the
  8. opportunities still developing in my life.
  9. I feel blessed.
  10. The explanation for this evidence is that despite losing his
  11. hand, Aaron is thankful for the experience in the canyon
  12. because it helped shape him as a person.
  13. He also knows that the tragic event is now used
  14. to help inspire many other people.
  15. When he goes and talks to a large group of
  16. people and tells him about his experience.
  17. They also realize, um and develop the same appreciation that
  18. Aaron has.
  19. The second piece of evidence that I found in the
  20. book is my accident in and rescue from Blue John
  21. Canyon, where the most beautiful spiritual experiences of my life
  22. the explanation of this evidence is the Erin describes the
  23. experience as spiritual, the accident or rescue, or some of
  24. the most difficult moments of his life.
  25. However, he recognized it as a miracle that he survived
  26. in how lucky he truly, as most people in the
  27. same situation would not have had the same outcome The
  28. Aaron did, and he was very lucky to be where
  29. he is today.
  30. The theme development throughout the story is the Aaron started
  31. off to be adventurous and wild.
  32. However, after the trauma in the canyon, he realized what
  33. a prize his life truly is.
  34. He became much more appreciative and used his new outlook
  35. to help inspire other people.
  36. He wanted to warn other people about the risk of
  37. being careless and wild, like he waas, and he really
  38. wants everyone to understand how precious life is and give
  39. them his same outlook.
  40. The second theme I noticed is that everything in life
  41. happens for a reason, and there's always a lesson to
  42. be learned.
  43. The first piece of evidence I found that supports us
  44. is that everything happens for a reason, and part of
  45. the beauty of life is that we're not allowed to
  46. know those reasons for certain.
  47. The explanation of this evidence is that, well, it might
  48. not always be clear right away why things happen.
  49. It may become more evident later on.
  50. It will never be definite.
  51. Why something happened.
  52. People must interpret the situation and tried to comprehend why
  53. it happened and what they had learned.
  54. The second piece of evidence that I found was that
  55. the boulder did what it was there to do.
  56. Boulders fault.
  57. That's their nature.
  58. It did the only natural thing it could dio.
  59. It was set up, but it was waiting for you.
  60. It says this in the novel because Aaron does not
  61. think poorly of the boulder and the accident.
  62. He recognizes that the boulder fell for a reason.
  63. The reason was to change errands, outlook on life and
  64. help shape him into the man he is today.
  65. Now he has much more appreciative and caring for his
  66. life. The theme development throughout the story shows the errands
  67. near death Experience was, well, tragic happened so he would
  68. develop an appreciation for his life.
  69. It always been adventures.
  70. However, the accident made him much more cautious and also
  71. share his experiences with other people.
  72. Thousands of other people who have listened Erin I'm read
  73. his novel take away all of the same experiences, an
  74. outlook that he shared this is really meaningful to so
  75. many people and can help see many other people's lives
  76. a swell.
  77. The third theme I found was that how people react
  78. to different, difficult situation says a lot about their personality
  79. and attributes.
  80. The first piece of evidence I found that supports us
  81. is that the pain tempted me to sit and regain
  82. strength. But I know I have to press on.
  83. This is after Aaron has to amputate his arm.
  84. The evidence explanation for this is that, well, Erin's body
  85. wanted him to stop and rest.
  86. He knew that his best chance at survival was to
  87. keep going.
  88. He has great survival skills, almost smart to continue on.
  89. This really shows what a strong person he was, because
  90. most other people in the same situation would not be
  91. able to do the same Prezi.
  92. The second piece of evidence was no time to dwell.
  93. The episode has passed.
  94. The explanation for this is that Aaron did not want
  95. to dwell on what had already happened because it was
  96. already done and said he wanted to focus on the
  97. situation at hand and the best way to conquer it.
  98. He knew that by dwelling on the past.
  99. He would waste time and possibly not be able to
  100. save his life and escape the canyon.
  101. Thank yeah.
  102. The theme development throughout this is that Aaron could have
  103. reacted to the situation and a countless number of ways.
  104. However, the way he reacted helped him survive.
  105. Aaron having to amputate his own arm shows how strong
  106. encourages he truly is.
  107. Most people, if they would have found themselves in the
  108. same situation, would not have known the best way to
  109. survive and would not have known how to amputate their
  110. own arm.
  111. It really shows what true survival skills Aaron has and,
  112. um, how unique he really is.
  113. While there are many other things I could have taken
  114. away from the novel, these are the main three that
  115. I learned from Aaron.
