Why was Charles Darwin famous?
Charles Darwin is a famous man for the theory of evolution.He wrote a book known as ' THE ORIGIN OF SPECIES' which was a scientific bombshell. Charles Darwin was the official naturalist aboard the British ship H.M.S Beagle. He made a observation during the journey to the devolpement of the theory.
Charles Darwin's brother's and sister's
Charles Darwin's mum and dad had ten children including Charles Darwin. Two of the children died in infancy: Charles Darwin's sister named Annie died at the age of ten because of the devastating effect on her parent's and Charles was a devoted father to his children. Out of the surviving children George,Francis and Horace became fellows of the of the Royal Society.
CHARLES DARWINS EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Charles Darwin was born in Shrewsbury, Shrophire, England on the 12th Feburay 1809 at his family home. He was the grandson of two people:Erasmus Darwin on his father's side,and of Josiah Wedgwood on his mother's side. Robert Darwin (Charles dad) , quietly a freethinker, had baby Charles baptised in November 1809 in the Anglican ST Chad's Church, Shrewsbury. But Charles and his siblings attended the Unitarian chapel with their mother. That July Charles Darwins mother died. From 1818 he joined his older brother(Erasmus) attending the nearby Anglican Shrewsbury school as a border.
The timeline of Charles Darwin
1809 12th February Charles Darwin was born in Shrewsbury England.

1813 he went on holiday to Gros near Abegele in wales for sea bathing with is family.

1814-1816 there was no information about him being away from The Mount.

1817 Charles Darwin attended day school in Shrewsbury runned by George Case.

1818 In June Charles Darwin went to Samuel Butler's school in Shrewsbury as a a border (stayed for 7 years).
Butler was the grand father of Samuel Butler.
