Ceramics
The objects are made from clay to produce pottery. In order to make the forms stronger, they must be fired in a kiln.
An object having 3-dimensions is a form. These dimensions are height, width and depth. Forms may be organic or geometric.
Form
A form is a 3-dimensional shape.
The element of art SHAPE and the element of art FORM go hand-in--hand.
Installations
Art that is created, constructed, or installed on the site where it is exhibited, often incorporating materials or physical features on the site.
Kinetic
Art that moves in space
Assemblage
Gathering a variety of objects and materials to form a new sculpture
Relief
A sculpture technique in which figures and/or other design elements are just barely more prominent than the (overall flat) background.
