When you divide a number its like repeated addition with the littlest number. Say the problem is 12/4 so then to get your answer you take the number 4 and see how many times it goes into 12 This is how to remember how to do long divison. to divide numbers you have to take the largest number and see how many times the smallest number can go into the largest number example 1 Hears some more examples 129 your going to do alot more divison Sixteen adults and 40 students attended a charity event. The adults and the students sat at eight tables.
