Objective: I will use the verb gustar to create sentences in Spanish to describe what my family likes to do.
Gustar with an Infinitive
Gustar: It is pleasing.
Gustar does not literally mean to like.
What is an Infinitive ?
An infinitive is the basic form
of a verb.

In English most infinitives
include the word to.
Turn to your partner and come up with
tres ejemplos of an infinitive in English.
ex. to run
What does an infinitive look like in Spanish ?
There are 3 types of verbs:
-ar
-er
-ir
ex. hablar, ser, escribir
Turn to your partner and come up with dos ejemplos of an infinitive in Spanish.
We are going to use gustar to talk about what people like to do.
