- patterns and color choices grew bolder. Blue, black, and gray were not the only suit color choices. Ties and shirts became more colorful.

Anything goes" Philosophy
- allowed for greater choice in clothing. Vests worn without the suit, suits with no tie, sports jackets with slacks, and mix matched patterns and colors.

Makeup, Hair, and Accessories of the 1960's.
In the novel The Pigman's Legacy, Dolly fixed Lorraine's hair into a french twist, which was a very big hairstyle.
Big, voluminous hair was very popular.
Messy hair, ponytails, and bobs were also very popular
Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs were hair styling icons.

Women's Accessories of the 1960's
Dolly accessorized her outfits with brightly colored jewelery and fun patterned purses.
Sunglasses became a very widely known accessory trend. The shapes ranged from "cat eye" to "bug eye".
Hats were also a large trend and were printed with bold floral designs, lace trim, and detailed embellishments.
Large earrings were also in style.
Purses were a staple accessory. They had animals, jewels, and various other prints on them.

-British teenage supermodel named Leslie Hornby. Also known as "Twiggy" because of her stick-thin figure.

Pump's were one of the most popular female high heeled shoes.
They were originally created for different purpose.
Women paired them with mini skirts.
Pump's made their first impact onto our lives in ancient civilizations of Egypt, Greece, and Rome.
A pairof Florsheim shoes were sold every four seconds.
Mens also wore brown leather mod oxfords shoes.
The shoe had an open weave tip just above the rounded toe.
Florsheim introduced two new additions to its portfolio of shoe lines.
Florsheim shoes were created by Duckie Brown.
Men often wore lace-ups or loafers.
They were a short ankle boot, and had a low cuban heel.
The trend for these shoes began with The Beatles
