Eleanor Roosevelt was born October 11,1884 in New York.
Her dad died in a fall and both her mother and brother died of diphtheria!
This forced her to move in with her grandmother.
She went to her Uncle Teddy's house every summer.
She married Franklin Roosevelt.
He was her distant cousin!
At her vacation home Va-Kill cottage she created a business.
When her husband had paralysis she helped him walk again even though doctors believed he never would.
She helped hurt soldiers have better hospitar conditions

During the Great depression Eleanor Roosevelt helped people find jobs and places to live.

She made sure people had good living conditions during the great depression.
