Introduction to the Writers' Studio
The HT Writers' Studio offers support and guidance to all HT students at any stage of any writing project.

formatting the works cited page
(e.g. essays, research papers, speech outlines, etc.), to
(e.g. résumés, scholarship essays, etc.) to
(e.g. poems, short stories, creative nonfiction, etc.)
The Writers' Studio is located in J-M 103
Monday-Thursday: 7:30am - 9:00pm
Friday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
To put it another way, we are not proofreaders or editors. Instead our intent is to help students improve their writing abilities and their confidence.
We are writing consultants

45 - 60 minutes long
Remember to give the PWC and yourself plenty of time
Things to bring:
Assignment sheet
Draft (if you have completed one)
A sense of what you would like to work on
For best results, come in with an idea of what you would like to address
Upcoming events
The Writers ' Studio is a "free" service offered to all HT students.

You can use us frequently, even multiple times on the same assignment, if needed.
We do not pass judgement on you or your writing.
